Grinder has been in stores for about a month. They are also updating all their pneumatic nailers.
-
Shop vac will be a $99 16 Gallon with blower attachment(i'm just the messenger :-P ). There will also be online exclusives specials for the shop vacs.
-
The Radio actually retails for $119 here in the states, still not a bad deal.

Rob Robillard (Concord Carpenter) just did a review on the Drill/Driver and Impact. Its mistitled "Bistitch," watching it right now. Not gonna post the link to infringe on the TIA guys.

Dewalts first error was the 18v Lithium Ion..................I mean people are confused that batteries come in different voltages, let alone battery style.

1) I think Festool is going to make a big push into the cordless market, eg cordless sanders, track saw, routers, maybe even a domino.
2) We will see Milwaukee and DeWalt really pushing their made in the USA lines more than ever, and hopefully expanding on them.
3) We may see advancements in battery tech such as solid sulfur-lithium or nanoporous li-ion.
4) Dewalt will put out a tool that is better than Milwaukee. Chase and Conductor will say "Well sure they had x years of catch up! Milwaukees new one is going to be better "
5) Milwaukee will put out a tool that beats the Dewalt tool from #4. Chase and Conductor will say "Haha told you so!"
6) Craftsman will continue their gimmicky "innovation" and release a full line-up of hand and power tools for lefties.
7) Milwaukee will announce the m12 riveter to come out in August. Then scrap the release due to lack of interest. :-o
Can I see the commericials now, LOL

My store doesn't sell this model, so I can't really add much other than this link in which multiple people try to help a guy with the exact same problem.

Diablo by Frued is a Home Depot exclusive(in terms of Retailers/Big Box stores) Just an FYI the presents of Bosch will be expanding in Home Depot as well. All Bosch Daredevil Paddle Bits will be exclusive to Home Depot(they were available at Menards, but are being pulled from their stores).

I'm sure when they can get the costs down we might see it happen, or they might only include compact batteries or 1 of each capacity. Ryobi stopped including fullsize battery packs in all of their power tool sets. You can only buy them individually now. People like to buy into a system with big combo kit's.
Wow, I didn't even notice that the Six piece Ryobi Super combo only has 2.0 amp batteries.
-
The power tool industry is beginning to move away from Big Combo kits. $399 for a Hammer and Impact, so I can only imagine what a 4 or 5 piece combo would be.
-
Ok, I just got this and I'm putting it in my kitchen junk drawer. And I'm dammm proud of it!!
You get that at HD free with a Screwdriver?
-
Home Depot is offering the same deal instore.

Not sound like I am being brainwashed by Conductor, but those blades were probably OEM'd by a company for Milwaukee so they could put one in the packaging.

GRK Fasteners are the greatest fasteners in the world. I don't say they aren't until you use them...............they are brilliant!!!

They need to give an award to the person that invented yoga pants and to the person that made them popular in ladies fashion. Your one lucky man Harold it's warm all the time where you are here up in Michigan we won't see anything sexy till spring it's sweat pants winter coats and jeans. :/
I don't know, I go to Grand Valley and I am pretty sure girls wear em year around:D

I've never used the Daredevils, but I've got the Freud blades on just about every saw I own and they are fantastic. The Avanti blades are ok, but nothing like the Diablo's.
As information, Dewalt OEM blades are made by Avanti which is also owned by Freud.
Yeah, I always thought that the Dewalt blades that come in the saws we sell looked very similar to the Avanti blades.

I usually stick my M12 Impact and hammer drill in UGG Boots when not in use. Sorry guys I didn't mean to bring the bots here:D

I have an older Makita 7 1/4" and I use the Diablo framing blade, got em two for one, and I love em. Not like I use it a lot, but it does cut like a hot knife through butter.
-
I'll a little younger than you guys, but I remember when I was 10 playing GHOST Recon on the PS2 and be scared out of my mind when people attacked me.
-
I assumed that fit just pumped the money r&d money into Milwaukee. Maybe brushless ridgid but I don't see that coming. Brush less craftsman seams very unneeded, at least till brush less becomes the standard.
-
The Makita ones the guys just reviewed are of good quality. It was the old Makita ones(like a year or two ago) were abosulute junk. They might aswell of been made from melted butter.

My HD has had the Fadtback 2's for at least a month.
I have the Fastback 2's already. I mean the knife, like a cutting knife................not a utility blade.
-
Sorry for the two posts, but I really wanted to get my hands on one of those fastback knifes(like the actual knife) and can't seem to find any information for their release other than in the "Fall". They would be idiots not to release it around hunting season.

I've been watching for the door knob kit at HD. Haven't found it yet
I got mine out of my overhead about 2 weeks ago(Not waiting for my vendor to do it) Its $35 bucks. When holding it, there is a decent difference in the weight compared to the Dewalt one we use to sell(which is being clearanced out starting at around $20
