wayneburgess
Looks like a very aggressive abrasive ball similar to the Dremel kind of stuff but I could be wrong like this one but the one you have looks a beast. PutnamEco
I'm guessing some kind of burr for a soft material like foam or wet (green) wood. Reminds me of Saburr-Tooth burrs.
PrInC55
Thank you for your help. This thing is awsome.I tried to put it on power tool and tried it on hard wood and it just violently teared it and when i took a look at the spikes..,.nothing like they are super tough or something i thought they will bent a little but they didnt. And i dont think it is homemade but i could be mistaken.Thank you again and if someone knows what it is let me know i am very interested,
wayneburgess
Looks like you put a rod through the hole to hold it still while you remove the screw out of the bottom to remove the spiked ball. This suggests to me it was a kit and maybe there were other things that fitted on there. Nalu Rash
wow i've never seen anything like this besides the stuff you see in horror movies. my only guess as others have already suggested is for carving out soft materials like foam or very soft woods. or it could just be the Ryobi egg beater bit, not sure though.
