DaveJr. Posted July 10, 2016 Report Posted July 10, 2016 Evening crew! I was wondering if there is a market for older used tools. I have an old Makita cordless drill and stapler and a Black and Decker sander. They all work and it would be a shame to just throw them away but I just don't use them anymore. The stapler is actually brand new. I'm trying to make some room in my garage.........any ideas on what I should do with them? Quote
ChrisK Posted July 10, 2016 Report Posted July 10, 2016 Well you could post them in the for sale part of the forum. You could also reach out to habitat and see if they could use the tools. Sometimes, those tools are exactly what they need! Quote
BMack37 Posted July 10, 2016 Report Posted July 10, 2016 I'm sure someone would buy them or you could donate them like Chris said. I have no problem buying used tools if they work and aren't trashed, some people don't care about them being trashed. Quote
sparky603 Posted July 10, 2016 Report Posted July 10, 2016 US-made, quality contractor-grade corded stuff in very good condition can usually fetch something maybe worth the effort on Ebay, and older Porter Cable stuff can be downright valuable. Otherwise, best probably donated or left in a free pile somewhere. Quote
