glass
Hey crap these things rock. I am impressed. They are liberal on the chain oil flow. I have not tried the makit yet, but I truly love these little saws and for lighter smaller work I see no reason to go gas anymore.
JakeDewalt
Just coming back from Key West which was directly hit by Hurricane Irma and I beg to differ. I don't believe in battery chainsaws. A guy had the makita 2 battery was seriously a joke.
The.Handyman
Love the DCCS620! Just tore up a log today with 1x 9.0ah toasted and 1 bar gone on the next. Maxed out the bar length on each side with 1 thermal overload. Cooled down in a few minutes. 1

This is the 1st chainsaw I've ever owned. I have never done this before. Been 15 years since I last used a chainsaw.

glass
Using both saws almost everyday. I will say it again. They rock. Narrow gauge chains and aggressive oiling from saw helps. I have yet to try the makita. But the makita track saw and router are killer. Festool, who cares !

I stayed in Key Largo for the storm at my friends house.

Hugh Jass
Yea Theater got wrecked I heard, most of the fish died but the Dolphins did well. They took most of the other critters north. I have 3 friends that work there as Dolphin, Sea Lion, and Parrot trainers.

applepie
wow I was kind of on the fence when it came to buying the baby chainsaw but it look great. I didnt think it would be capable of chewing those logs

Big Adam
Apologies for the noob question, I know the baby chainsaw has tool-free chain tensioning but can someone confirm what (if any) tools are needed to remove the entire bar? The manual isn’t 100% clear on this. I’m planning to pick up a couple of bare tools while I’m in Florida in December and breaking down the chainsaw will help me pack it into my luggage. No tools required. Twist the knob counterclockwise to remove the black housing. Twist the tensioning knob to give enough slack. Done - 10 seconds give or take. I take it apart after every use to clean out the accumulated debris. I found out that if you don’t the bar/chain oil wicks out and you end up having a mess on the floor of your work van or counter. D W
What deedub said. I have a petrol Makita with tool free tensioning. It's great. Just keep turning anticlockwise to take the housing and bar off.
