ChrisK
Are you serious?! That’s pretty cool stuff, I’ll have to check my HD out. I don’t need em but I bet they look cool.

ChrisK
Hehehehehe.....I think I just “felt” something. Those look pretty cool. I absolutely love the looks of my compact Makita. I mean, it is a top performer and I use the gun all the time but being black just looks badas$!
Framer joe
Gotta say. Good Job Rigid.....I think the specs are the same , just the color changed for a limited holiday run....but as you said ...Badass....I don’t think I’d mind a special edition black Dewalt set...:)
HiltiWpg
I gotta say, that metallic copper look is really growing on me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
ChrisK
One of the coolest things I’ve got is that black compact Makita 18v impact. Color isn’t everything but hey, cool is cool and that copper looks awesome on the Ridgid. I’d love to see Dewalt do that too like @Framer joe said.

Would have a nice black and white color combo.
Framer joe
@Jronman..that black and white would resemble the earlier Makita drill/ impact combo....I would never want my badass Dewalt tools to resemble those...lol
Jronman
@Framer joe could also say all black would resemble Makita subcompact.
Framer joe
True,,,but again, inferior to any Dewalt product...heck even the m12 fuel tools beat the subcompact line from Makita.... @Jronman

Entry level 18v power at best. The gen 2 fuel is outstanding in power and rivals some entry level 18v tools but not the premium stuff. The premium Makita is some of the best. I'd buy premium Makita if I wasn't already invested in DeWALT. The x2 recip is the best recip on the market (onekey sawzall not included). The x2 plunge saw is the best valued premium cordless plunge saw on the market.

King DORK
I love Ridgid's orange/black scheme, but I do feel extra cool when I bust out my black Ridgid tools.
