Jeth
I saw on toolguyd' s that bosch is comming out with some 2.0 and 4.0ah batts for the 12v line and a heated jacket and it looks great its about time !
DR99
Yea I saw that also on Toolguyd's page I don't have any Bosch 12v tools so it was pretty boring for me, but for some people they might be excited the heated jackets are pretty nice for cold climates. DR99
It's not that more expensive compared to a nice nice jacket as long as you buying it as a bare tool. The problem with the heated stuff is the big box stores don't stock the items in store. I get so many people wondering why my jacket has a glowing light on it and once I tell them they think its the coolest thing. If they could get the costs down to around 60-70 for the bare tool jackets and 120 for a full kit they would sell much better. Home Depot should have an endcap or something for them. DR99
I have the black I think I would feel like a Milwaukee sales rep if I had the red. Well your down in Florida the I don't think you will have the greatest need for a heated jacket unless your relocating.
Conductor562
I agree a store display where you could actually try the damn things on would be a plus.

Eric - TIA
I agree, its hard. Also they aren't suppose to be big. My understanding is if they are bigger on you, they don't heat as well.
Jeth
Good point !!! There is only one place that i know that have them in stock and they dont have all the size's they are realy nice ! If i had m12 stuff i would have got one so mabe if one day i see the bosch in store i will buy one but i'm not ordering on line
DR99
The thing that gets me is I know some of the M12 and M18 tools are very trade oriented, but some of the other tools like impact wrenches and things are not carried in the store. How is some one supposed to know whats out their in the product line they should have a display with all the tools in the product line, and have a slick ordering system to order items that don't make sense to stock. Like the heated jackets they could totally have some display models so you could get the right size. Plus Milwaukee want's to run brushless and brushed tools at the same time how confusing it going to be with stores trying to stock this stuff. I know they want to keep the prices in line with other companies, but man the needs to layout the tool area better or add some more space. They just seem to stock a lot of tools no one is really looking at.
Conductor562
Dewalt at Lowe's is one of the few scenarios where I've seen anything that could be considered a significant portion of anyone's line at a B&M store.
DR99
Bosch has a spot at one local HD that used to be the Hilti desk and they have everything on display from the big demo hammers to all of the laser levels they offer. It's just that store though it's one of the newest stores they have built. I'm curious to see what Menards carries they should be starting the construction of the new store by me soon they have cleared the land.
