Jmlee
Anyone else having issues with the handle leaking on the wand/handle? Ryobi of course doesn’t want to do anything about it as it’s been longer then 90 days since I purchased the unit. Home Depot of course stated to me if I got the 2 year warranty from them no matter what the issue they will either fix or replace the unit. Well now I am being told the manufacturer warranty needs to end before I can file a claim on the unit for repair or replacement. Manufacturing warranty ends 3 years from the date of purchase! Unit is only just a year old and has been used at my home 2 times since I bought it. Unbelievable we all by into the BS Home Depot sells and you would think Ryobi would at least back up their plastic cracking at the handle especially when the unit is in great shape still looks new. Eric - TIA
That's BS they won't back it. I would go talk with the store manager. Not your fault Ryobi made a defective product and Home Depot is selling it. Why should you have to deal with it? My neighbor has that exact same pressure washer and he loves it. No problems at all with his. I think it was just a defective unit which happens to all products but at least Home Depot should back it. Ringmaster
Did you leave it in an unheated place without draining it last winter?
TopDawg
at the end of the day.. Big Box co sold a unit of a name brand that typically stands up to most wear and tear...esp having only used 3 times... not much value there... shouldn't matter the how... all should matter while under warranty is the customer gets replaced or fixed... certainly home Depot has more money than most customers... but if you start not standing behind your product esp while under warranty.. big box Won't be as Big for long.... customer service and satisfaction should outweigh...Takes Care of the customer.... Take it to the manager
