Paul_Staunton
I just found this Stanley 120 Block plane. I have never seen one like it before. I am hoping that others can offer some insight. It is clearly marked Stanley No 120 on the toe near the knob. The look-and-feel is very much of a standard Stanley 120 but the lever cap is flat iron with a special pivoting piece to accept the tightening wheel. I doubt that it is a ground-down knuckle cap since the lever cap is flat with no bulge. Has anyone ever seen such a plane? Any ideas as to the years of production?
Eric - TIA
Not sure the year, but that is awesome. I love these older tools. I often hit garage sales and try to look for these and other hand tools. One of my favorites is the old saws. This planner is very cool. Curious to see if anyone knows, I would like to find out.
