Warranty Service in Sydney Australia - Waiting 4 weeks for simple defective part not available

I acquired a DUH602 Hedge trimmer in Jan 21. Defective in Mar 22, Handed the trimmer to accredited warranty repairer "De Rossi" in Lidcombe New South Wales. Todays date 7th April, advised that DE Rossi is awaiting replacement part end April. Raised matter with Makita Sydney by email, no response. Not even an acknowledgement of email.

I am surprised that the Australian Makita Company is so bad. I am now reconsidering future Makita products.
