TSP Posted July 13, 2022 Report Share Posted July 13, 2022 The switch on my delta 36-650 went out. Came on, but would not turn off. I took the switch apart, cleaned it, it now works. I don't trust it so I need a new one. Thought it would be a simple purchase. Nope. There are type 1 and type 2 36-650 and I'm not sure which mine is. It doesn't say in the model so I would guess Type 1. Also mine does not have a removable lock switch, I thought that might be the only difference. I found a retailer that has the type 1 for. $79. Yes, for a simple 4 pole rocker switch. The type 2 for $40. Typical switch is about $10. Anyone know how to know whether you have a Type 1 or 2? Maybe just the key lock due to regulations?
