djslater
Has anyone ever used this before? I drove a few screws in with it....it was one of those "Why didn't I think of that" moments...lol
firefighter4187
The new makita Gold stuff is pretty cool, not bad for 5 bucks.
NicholasShetley
I haven't used it but it seems good. The 2x strength applies to impact drivers as they produce 4x the torque of that drill.
Joe M
Makita is expanding their Impact Gold line(at least in HD stores). The next thing will be double-sided impact bits(both ends are phillips and both ends will fit in your impact). I just moved to a different department, but one of the last new items I got was a huge box full of new Makita bits.
DR99
What department are you moving to? I hope something that's as fun as power tools.

Joe M
Unfourtantely not :/ I am moving to Flooring(I've sold three Ridgid wet saws of different sizes already in a week). My last customer I helped at the end of my last shift I sold a Milwaukee Fuel Hammer and Impact Combo(my fifth of the week) with a free Sawzall to a kid whose dad was buying it for him as a gift, was a good one to go out on. keslogan
I recently bought into the Makita gold bits for my impact driver. I like having the option of removing the magnetic sleeve. The magnets are super strong and hold large screws for one handed fastening. I replaced my Milwaukee shock wave Impact bits with these because The shock waves were crap. I twisted the torx/star and the Phillips bits so bad that they could barely drive a screw anymore. The black Oxide coating wore off after the first few screws. Makita bits are the best. Conductor562
I bought a pack of the 2 headed Makita Gold's today. We'll see how the work out. If I can get Milwaukee performance and Dewalt longevity I'll be a happy camper.
BK13
I bought some of the bits (#2 Phillips, I think) but haven't used them much... Just drove some additional screws into my parent's fence gate, maybe a dozen total.
