Reciprocating Saw Lubrication

I have an old (1983) Craftsman Dual Speed Industrial Reciprocating Saw Model No. 900.27211. It has been storage in its original metal box for many years. Yesterday I took it out to check it out and there was oil all over it as if it leaked from somewhere on the saw as there was no container of oil in that box. The original manual however does not show any need for oil lubrication, nor does the parts diagram show any gasket that may have deteriorated causing any internal oil to leak out. The saw works fine, but I am reluctant to try and use it if it was a sealed unit with lubricating oil sealed in it that has now leaked out. Does anyone who reads this know if there is oil in the saw that could have leaked out and how i would replace that lubricating oil as there are no ports for adding oil.

Thanks,

Joe
