DURING THIS TEST WE USED THE DEWALT DC9096 XRP NiCd BATTERY 2.4 Ah. WITH A 1/2" DEWALT ROCK CARBIDE BIT MODEL DW5437. TESTED IN 5000 psi CONCRETE 3 1/2" THICK.

THE DEWALT DC212 WITH LITTLE EFFORT AT ALL, DRILLED 58 1/2 HOLES! DEWALT'S SHOCKS SYSTEM WORKS VERY WELL. I FELT ALMOST 0 USER FATIGUE WHILE DRILLING 58 HOLES BACK TO BACK. WITH THE WEIGHT AND BALANCE OF THE DEWALT DC212 THIS IS CERTAINLY A TOOL YOU COULD USE ALL DAY!

IF YOU’RE AN AVID ROCK CLIMBER, THIS UNIT WOULD BE LIGHT ENOUGH TO PACK AROUND FOR DRILLING IN ANCHORS!
