hiros
hi fellow dewalt owners! Got in a bit of situation and seeking the help if any DC411 owners have done it. I intend to do some errands cutting some steel and wanted to rotate the gear case of the DC411, but after removing the four corner screws, it does seems to be able to rotate. Are there any other procedure that need to be followed?? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi Guys, my name is Reiner, I am based in Germany, I am also using a DC 411, to rotate the gearbox you have to unscrew the gearbox with the 4 gearbox screws, than lift the gearbox incl. the beafle fan, part no. 9 in the service drawing, here is the retainer, part no. 10 in the service drawing located just a little than you can rotate the gearbox in steps of 90°. I hope this information helps. Hopefully I have not to many spelling mistakes Greatings from good old Germany Reiner
