It's a deal if your looking for Ni-Cad tools. Yah you can use the Li-On batteries in them but it looks weird, to each their own. At least you can get the batteries everywhere and there cheap. I can't even find the Li-On around here there always sold out and there expensive on top of it. Personally I like the Li-On better, they hold the charge longer when not in use, they are a lot lighter and they don't retain a memory like the Ni-Cad so you can top off the charge anytime or as much as you like.
