is it possible to use charge 12v batteries (bought here in the states) with a EU charger?

since they have 10.8V batteries over there.....but does it make a difference?

the batteries looks the same.

asking because there is a guy who bought the bosch heated jacket here in the states.

he cant charge his batteries in UK because of the wrong charger.

he bought a charger for like 10bucks (no-brand one) in UK but it blew up.

I was thinking about, that he can buy the original Bosch charger from Germany and just

stick in the 12v batteries...

what you guys think?

You should be good to go.  Worst case scenario you can send a us charger and get a converter plug.  10.8 is the same as 12V  should be a non issue.

the us charger with converter plug don't work over there.

but I told him to buy the battery charger from Germany, since its the same voltage in UK and Germany....

ya I already told him that 10.8 and 12V are the same....
