RobertMcNjr
Thinking about buying one, not sure though. Is it accurate? Does it work on finding ceiling joist? Merry Christmas! Hope everyone has a nice holiday. I also hope everyone got what they wanted for Christmas, cheers.

Bigmikez
The Franklin is awesome I love that tool and I also have a lil magnetic stud finder from C.H.Hanson that has also been good for me
DR99
I never used the Franklin personally but I have never heard anything bad said about it.
NERemodeling
They work excellent. It's the only stud finder that I have ever trusted

RobertMcNjr
Thank you for the feedback, I think I'll invest in one of these. I've never really used a stud finder but they do seem convenient. I'll give it a try, thanks again ^^

Nordraw
Yeah it is well worth the money. Also they have one on sale at Costco in a blue color for about 35 bucks that is the same as the yellow one with the Franklin name on it. Beats spending 50. PDvor
Hello! I have to find wooden beams supporting my metal sheet roof. The roof has no access to find beams from bellow. Would this scanner work, or metal would interfere with the device?Your reply is sincerely appreciated.
NERemodeling
Hard to say without seeing the application... the surface needs to be smooth so the sensor can make full contacr with the wall so something like corrogated steel would be out. I dont believe The sensors rely on magnetism to work so maybe Thin flat sheet could work.. just not positiveBest bet is to probably send Franklin an email and pic of the application
