leandrorr2011 Posted May 18, 2015 Report Share Posted May 18, 2015 Hey guys, a have some doubts, a friend are selling a used Dewalt DE367 circular saw and a new Skilsaw 5380 circular saw, what is a better purchase, a Dewalt or Skil? ChrisK Posted May 18, 2015 Report Share Posted May 18, 2015 Ooooompf! I don't think the Skilsaw is new dude! There's rust all over the shoe and the blade guard attachment. If they were new I'd go with the Dewalt, it has more power and cutting speed. Skilsaw just came out with a pro grade magnesium saw which is supposedly one of the best saws out now but this looks like an older cheap saw so based on the pics and the fact that the Skilsaw clearly looks used too, I'd get the Deealt, change out the blade and brushes and make sure the shoe is square. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
