WigWagWorkshop Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Although I have a Dremel 4000 rotary tool, I was browsing Home Depot, and seen this offering from Milwaukee. https://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/2460-21 I also have the corded DeWalt rotary tool, but you need to use an adapter for Dremel bits. So, I was thinking maybe a little red is in my future. If anyone has this rotary tool, please share your thoughts on it, and how it compares to a Dremel.
Stercorarius Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 I was in the same boat a while ago. Some good info in this thread. http://www.professional-power-tool-guide.com/power-tool-forum/index.php?/topic/8843-2460-21-Rotary-Tool-Thoughts? 1
Stercorarius Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Credit goes to comp. $55 after exchange rate. http://www.ihlcanada.com/19773.html
John Glassey Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Just picked one up from http://www.ihlcanada.com/$55.70 delivered. I got it after seeing so many talking about it and how well they like it and that it used all the dremel attachments. After getting it I can say it's not bad. Feels good in my hand, power was good. Has a light but thought it was a little annoying. If you are thinking of getting one. This was a tool only purchase no batteries or charger. You'll need to consider that if you get one and don't have any m12 already. Good luck Wigway.
WigWagWorkshop Posted February 21, 2016 Author Report Posted February 21, 2016 Well, since I don't have any other Milwaukee tool, I would need the charger and battery. I did find on HD, they have it for $99, and it also includes a 12v flashlight.
John Glassey Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Not bad for the kit and flashlight. For $99.

That led flash light is nice too. I love all my M12 tools!!! 2
WigWagWorkshop Posted February 21, 2016 Author Report Posted February 21, 2016 Thanks All! If I decide to pull the trigger, look out for a possible giveaway of a DeWalt corded DW660! 2
WeldfabNeil Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 I keep considering one but never pulled the trigger. I have the m12 fuel drill, fuel impact, an oscillating tool an very pleased with them all.
khariV Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 I picked one up two years ago in a BF sale for $50 for the kit. I don't use a ton, but what I have used it for (cutting off bolts, drywall cutting, notching trim, and light sanding to remove rust) it did a great job. It's compatible with all of the Dremel attachments I've bought and more powerful than some of the other cordless dremels I've used in the past. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
