Good article Chris. I didn't know the festool vacuum hose fits other tools. Have you seen this from Craftsman (http://www.sears.com/craftsman-auto-switch/p-00924031000P ) . Not as built-in as Festools dust extractor, but pretty cool. I have been wanting to get one and connect it to my shop vac and tools.

That would be super sweet. I have wanted a ts55 for a long time. The ts75 is for the big boys. I wish I could but can't afford it.
