  1. Congrats on the purpose! Remember to register that warranty LSA! They have the best in the business IF you register!
  2. Awesome job in a beautiful home too. I love the older homes especially from that era. Lots of craftsmanship went into them. Heck of a job sir. And thanks for posting, that is really inspiring. Your Mom has got to be stoked!

Hey it's a start Mike. I bought my Dad.....don't laugh, it's actually kick butt awesome....the Harbor Freight version. His buddy has one and it's all aluminum. I like my Kreg better but for $60 that thing is a dream! For clamps, Comp has an awesome one. Regular clamps are great too!

Yeah Mike...check Woodcraft and Amazon. They have specials where you can buy a crap load of screws for like $25. Several times a year. When I first got my kit, I bought a box of screws every time I went to HD and Lowes to offset the initial cost.
  5. Dude, normally I don't complain about work but it's been a real be-hotch for a while now. Gotta love the budget minded. Do more with less. Then do more. Then.....let's change benefits. Yeah.....now.....do more with less......FOR LESS!
  6. Honestly what a beautiful shop. That's something I would never want to leave. Absolute beauty and craftsmanship. Love those doors too!
  7. Wow! Now that really blows! It's been super hot down there too. My Mom is really irritated because it's been so wet where she lives, but so humid at the same time, that her windows are constantly fogged over. My parents can't go kayaking. Not because of the 100 degree weather but the super intense thunder storms.
  8. Today, tomorrow and Wednesday I am taking a federal interdiction course. When I say I fell asleep in class today......TWICE....please know that I am not lying. Meanwhile, I have a stack of 2x4s sitting on my sidewalk waiting for me to turn them into a plywood cutting station and a support wall for another lumber rack in the shop. Sometimes work really interferes with important stuff!
  9. Chad, did you use PayPal? That'll be helpful if it goes south. I did a sell on CL to a guy in Vermont and it went awesome so I'm sure you'll be okay! The big thing is make sure the SN is not stole !
  10. Dang dude, that looks awesome. Not quite as pretty as my Tundra but.....
  11. Thanks Mondo, I couldn't believe they accepted my offer on that one. I might shoot a quick unboxing video when it gets in as I've heard this is a killer set.
  12. Hahahaha nice Regopit! My wife broke my glass beer tumblr....then broke the other one. She ended up getting me two better ones! Now.....come on down sweetheart! Daddy needs a new band saw!
  13. That must've taken a while to lay out Pete! I'd go into the kitchen, get and ice cold beer and take a few breaths!
  14. Wow guys! My wife comes downstairs and talks to me while I'm in the shop running tools. But....she's hot so I guess I'll put up with it
  15. Awesome find Shuutr. I might go and take a gander!
  16. http://www.amazon.com/Wera-05004080001-Imperial-Ratchet-Push-Through/dp/B00IXMFJEY Not screwdrivers but I just won an offer on this kit on eBay for $75 minus $16 I had in my paypal account. Big.....BIG.....differ eve in actual cost. Totally worth it and will be a great addition to my Festool kit I just got.
  17. Nice job Dwain. I wish my new Blsch came with a belt clip let alone a bit holder but....lice stuff though!
  18. Welcome to the forum Chau252 thanks for the offer too!
  19. Glad to have a formal introduction Junior! ,My Dad and two of my younger brothers were born in Dunsmuir (actually Redding). My Dad was on ski patrol on Mt Shasta and was a Bank Manager for Bank of America many many years ago. We moved to New England when I was 8 in '78. Even know that was 37 years ago I will never forget that country. Absolutely beautiful.
  20. I've got the top of the Dewalt box and really like it but the Milwaukee does have the power features built in.
  21. Can't argue with that!I can speak to the Dewalt, I'm sure it's a decent saw. But....the Skilsaw is a really well thought out machine with an incorporated depth guide on the inside of the blade guard and a blower. Plus it's light. Lighter than most saws!
  22. Comp....you should work suicide hotlines! Hahahahahahahaha Well....you clearly have to jump off of the platform sir....... Yes sir. Jump......one step then the next.....
  23. Well....thanks for pointing out my clear issue
  24. Sweet job Moxy....keep posting dude, love to see what you come up with and the finish process!
