    X carve

Holy crap Chad! Awesome stuff dude! Can't wait to hear what you think about it.
  2. For he first time ever I got to go to a Rockler store (Portland Me) yesterday. They have Triton tools on display. No cordless stuff that I saw but a planet, router, sanders and their track saw. Seemed like they were decent quality but I can't back that by personal experience. I've heard good and bad about their tools though.
  3. Kind of like right now, as I sit on a systainer looking at the wall I just built in my shop, I do things on a whim! Same with my videos. I haven't shot any project videos just to reviews or demonstrations.
  4. All kidding aside Jason, just got home with three sheets of OSB and a stack of 2x4s. Like April, I'm a neat freak, I'm adding a wall to hide that drain pipe and make some wall storage!
  5. I think April got some sponsors I've subscribe to her channel for a while. The girl has talent! And apparently some shiny new tools to boot!
  6. I shoot small videos with my iPhone 6 plus via this super stupid easy jig I made that allows the phone to sit in place. I haven't figured out how to edit but I just bought my Wife a Mac desktop. I'm going to try and shoot my next video and edit it there and then post via my YouTube link.
  7. Well if it's any consolation, my house is on .13 of an acre! A half acre would be a real splendid thing for me! The house looks great though and that's what I call a skill building project to love!
  8. Thanks Chad! Definitely spotty for finding them. My town no, next town yes. Might grab a couple more this morning.

    My new toys!!

Congratulations dude. I'd stay with the 20v, the reviews are awesome, Eric and Dan love the one they tested and you can use the batteries all the way around with you other tools too!
  10. Kato. I love your shop man. Super inspirational.
  11. DR, I've got the best fence for my Kapex. I hope to have it up,tomorrow. It's made by Fastcap. Also, by far, my favorite tape measures are my Fastcaps. My Bostich FatMax is the bomb and o feel is better than my Milwaukee but this Fastcaps are awesome. Perfect woodworking tools and super cheap price wise.
  12. Yup, my Dads radial, arm saw which is in my shed and his 7-1/4" circular are American made and I just can't get rid of them. Funny stuff DR, I like that they try to train Indians with American accents. Hysterical. I've got a friend who is here from India and is a freakin' genius with computer programs. Undeniably the nicest guy I know,
  13. Hahaha reminds me of high school when some dumb a$s kid I was a senior with jacked up his front wheel drive Buick and put huge drag tires on the back and little donuts on the front. Ahhhhhhh.......memories.....of they way we were.......
  14. Funny that, I just got back from HD Rochester and they're full price. Just must be that store.
  15. So just went to HD and bought (yeah kind of an impulse buy when I saw it) two Dewalt XL 50" Clamps for $24 each. These retail for $39.97 but in the store they were marked down. The Dewalt XL clamps are the best trigger clamps I have used and now have a half dozen of them and will probably grab a couple more today. These are much different from most trigger clamps including the large and mediums offered from Dewalt in that they offer a full clamp face. All Dewalt XL clamps have this. Great feature for edge gluing in that the whole edge is under pressure. The pads are rubber and non marring too and they can be used as spreaders. They are full price on the web site but my store had them really cheap in Somersworth NH. Maybe yours too? http://t.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-50-in-X-Large-Trigger-Clamp-DWHT83188/204988149
  16. Well now kruton.....I normally keep those tools in the shadows from the detractors but......here in I did a while ago about DC..... I'm going to be doing several projects today and tomorrow, if I can I'll try to post pics of the new fastcap fence system on the MFT/3 Kapex which is different from this video I took this early winter.
  17. Thanks Mike! If you get the chance, give the Bosch a whirl. It'll knock your sox off. I still love my Dewalt but that Bosch is awesome.

    18volt mitre saw

Welcome to the forum Ad_w funny hearing that from someone from the UK! Normally we are the ones complaining about tools being released over the first! I just got an email yesterday about this thing too. Looks like an awesome saw!
  19. They told us because we're the USA, we are so good we can do whatever we want with the English language
  20. Yeah....il be SUUUUUUUUURE to do that Moxy
  21. Agreed Nate. You've already got that B&D line going and why not add. That Matrix drill has all sorts of kits you can buy for it including a jig saw! The you can save for something stationary like a small band saw or drill press. Plus. You never know where your future might lead, if you save those pennies when you get a bit older you can trade em in for the big guns! Makita, Milwaukee, Dewalt.....
  22. Welcome to the forum Moxy. I can't wait to get my shop back in order. Yours looks pretty sweet dude!
  23. Wow! How much distance did you get on that beast?
