  1. I'm with Regopit, I just gave my last one away, a great little Hitachi. To add to Regopit's comment, you are going to pay for it but....I re mudded my addition and sanded it with the RO90 and Midi vac. NO DUST...NO MASK...NO SAFETY GLASSES!! Well worth the money. Plus the brushless gear driven motor awesome tool. Bosch is great but dust collection is always a pain. I bet the new Bosch Hepa vac might help but just as expensive as my Festool.
  2. Well I will say once you go track....there ain't no going back!!!!!!
  3. Plus it is actually a really good cordless saw. And CPO is a great seller too!
  4. I actually tried the corded version of this Ridgid while helping my brother do some work for a woman that had just gone through a divorce and needed some windows replaced in her farm. Anyways, at the time I had the Bosch AVS jigsaw but had left it at home as this woman had all iof her ex husbands tools. I used the jigsaw to cut 3/4" plywood and also some 2x material and it did really well. I didn't have to change the blades but I messed around with the lever and I loved the set up. Real heavy duty, heavy jig with a lot of power. But again, it was the corded one but is essentially set up the same as the one in your video. All in all I like it a lot.
  5. I'd love to see Milwaukee come, out with cordless nailers. Of course I'd love to see them come out with a modular storage box too. Ooooooooooooohhhhh.....need some aloe for that burn Milwaukee.....hmmmmmmm????
  6. Always remember....we might not have a bunch of hot chicks swinging there chests around at tool shows but Milwaukee has the power. Hopefully they will blow them outta the water quick. Interesting though...I've nearly broke my wrist with my old Dewalt hammer drill....you know, before I went red....and that thing had half the hp that this new Makita has. Makes you kind of nervous...,,
  7. With this type of charging do you think this will have to be another type of battery altogether for the Bosch' or is it something Bosh is making for their entire line?
  8. That would be freakin' awesome. No more big chunk 'o plastic taking up,valuable shelf room!
  9. Nice find. Holy crap....is Makita pulling their heads out of the sand?
  10. Remember once you have GVWR of 10,001 (including combined) your a commercial vehicle and have to have a medical card, hours of service and markings plus all the safety equipment!!!!!
  11. Yeah my next purchase in this category is BOTH tools the stapler then the finish. As far as the branding, I really do t mind, it's partially hidden and other than that the tool looks like a floor demo, very minor scuffs which I could clean. The battery is also branded recon but with a year warranty I am not concerned. Obviously I'm not a ryobi guy but I have bought another battery (a set, one nicad, one lithium, charger and circular saw, off of eBay for cheap money -$40! I am really happy with this purchase but this will more likely than no be the only tool genre that I buy from ryobi....no lost love, just Festool and Milwaukee are my main stays) I'll probably sell that off and keep the lithium battery so I have two and recoup the money spent. Loving the Afro Regopit, reminds me of my hair in high school!!!! And it's natural that way!!!
  12. Wow Jens....some serious art there dude. Wicked cool!
  13. So guys, there was a topic about reconditioned tools and their value as well as reliability, this is going to be my third review (?) for TiA and it is going to be ongoing. I'd like to post video of it too but seriously...if it ain't an xbox.... So I ordered my Certified Refurbished Ryobi Airstrike Brad Nailer (18ga.) this past week. It came in the mail today. The tool was in 9 out of 10 condition, the battery charged and a 7 out of 10 condition (some scratches to the bottom, very light) and the charger a 8 out of 10 for condition. The tool came with five sticks of nail, a belt clip and screw. The battery was fully charged and the tool lit up immediately. You will notice the impression "Recon" on the front of the gun rear of the nail rail. The tool has a nice feel to it and the grip seems pretty comfortable. Am I now a Ryobi guy....c'mon seriously??? Does this feel like a well built tool that's going to be super useful? Heck to the yeah my Bizzellllsssss....(sorry my inter city coming out there...Yukka Yukka Yukka). Here are some pics of the unpacking and I will follow up with some general impressions of a first time, cordless nail gun owner. This tool comes with CPO's 60 day satisfaction and a full Ryobi warranty! Not too bad for $116!!!!! Can't wait to try it out!!! Will I buy from CPO again?? Absolutely. Review to follow soon!
  14. Hahahahaha sounds like the Milwaukee Skunkworks team had too many brews Friday! I would refer you to my review posted in January of their innovative bottle opener for further research into what can only be called a Friday Night Abortion!
  15. I'm not really familiar with the three strike rule other than rumors but if it is for drug possession etc. not a big fan it costs taxpayers tons of money for a etc. but when you look at the underlying problem that is caused by the dealer.....well that is a discussion that is just going to tick people off. But when it comes to brutal attacks like this they perp needs to be put away....forever. And stop with the useless dribble these people get. Work them. Sure they can be paid but they should work. Let them contribute back to society while being reformed. I know I know yet another discussion with people on both sides of the fences. Kind of like Obama Care......
  16. Yup...they literally suck. Not a fan after that. My blood still boils when I see that.
  17. In NH that would be Felony Robbery and at a minimum 2nd degree felony assault. But say he won out at ten years, a violent attack like that will victimize that poor girl for the rest of her life.
  18. Unfortunately people like this exist. Thankfully if you believe I. It, this scumbag has some payment coming.
  19. This is on my chair rail in the dining room
  20. Get yourself a track saw. I've got the Festool, but Dewalt, Makita and Grizzly make them too.
  21. That is yet another reason I love NH
  22. Thanks for posting this...boy this fires me up every time I see it.
  23. Also, I am a huge fan pf prevention...motion lights work. Keep your car locked (youd be surprised how many dont). Most of these theives are junkies looking for a quick score and if it looks like the owner is aware, they normally go to the next house. Cameras are great too. That and my welcome sign I have...a pistol and the caption "We Dont Dial 911 Here"
  24. Guys, I am a huge propenent of the right to keep and bear arms. Kind of funny cause I dont own any. I am also a huge proponent of a man being as safe as a king in his castle when he (or she) is in his (or her) home. I have my 2012 Charger outside and an M4, a Remington 870 and a S&W M&P45 for work tools and feel relatively safe but when I retire I will own some firearms. I will remind everyone, as I do when I FTO a new guy or when I teach at the academy or WHENEVER I go to a call that there is ALWAYS a firearm at that call. Unfortunately cops get killed by their own firearms everyear during struggles. We are trained and it happens so....if you keep a gun at the house for home defense, train with it and know you local laws. Sorry, I just see bad things happen sometimes and I may not be a finish carpenter (YET) but I am familiar with what a firearm can do to somebody. So if you get guns, keep them safe. More often than not those are the first things stolen and used to commit crimes. Also make sure it is properly secured. Many people dont know that if you leave your gun in your car or house unsecured you can and often will be civilly liable for criminal actions taken by the thief!
