  1. Wiley X Javier. I used them on swat several years ago. I have the same pair I've had for nearly 13 years and use them for night driving too (yellow lenses). I have a pair in my wood shop (clear lenses) that I use exclusively for the past 13 years too in the shop. Love them. Awesome glasses. Not cheap but I think they were like fifty bucks but they are good quality distortion free glasses.
  2. Hahahahahahahaha sorry!
  3. We'll DR, gay does mean friendly
  4. That's what I'm doing now. I put away whatever I can in my tool account and when the time is right blam-o! Also I'm with you, I'm thinking the Domino is next. I got the Midi with the RO90 sander. After my TS55REQ that is the best set of tools I have. Period.
  5. LMAO holy crap that's funny!
  6. Stand back ladies. Green is in . Come to think on it green M&M's are my favorite too... Regopit you lucky son of a gun! I am really happy you get to go! Parents! Have to visit them
  7. Losing Bosch was a bad thing for them. They never used to be too popular in the cordless market in my neck of the woods but clearly they are an industry leader and HD will end up getting a pretty profitable market with Bosch in their lineups. I will say that the PC Impactor that TiA gave me last year is a pretty slick tool and although it might not be a high end tool, it will keep up with the other 18v no problem but who knows if the line will ever take off. Generally speaking nowadays, my visit to Lowes is for finished lumber as it is better than HD's although I prefer local suppliers.
  8. I've got a real questionable one. I was watching (so I can't take credit here) "the Office" and Dwight asked Jim for a "Gay Detector" on the Gay Witch Hunt episode. I laughed my A$s off for the whole episode. Anyways, Jim gets a portable metal detector like the ones used at Court and just wrote Gay and Straight on it. I figure Hey what the heck? Would save most of us the horribly embarrassing moment when we say the wrong thing at the wrong time.
  9. Toolguyd mentioned it just around Christmas time but to be quite honest, and I do not have any first hand experience with Kobalt tools, the reviews on the Kobalt line haven't been all that great. The saw, to me, looks just like the one offered by Rockwell. It is a combination type jig / Recip looking thing. Interesting because Lowes seems to be keeping to Kobalt, Hitachi (great cordless line), Rockwell and Dewalt. I read on Bosch' forum that Lowes lost Bosch and HD is in the process of carrying the line.
  10. Yeah, I got my brother a cool through type socket set from HD this Christmas. He had bought one for his work truck from Lowe's (Kobalt) but they didn't have it any longer. I found the Husky one at HD and gave it to him for Christmas. Screwy looking set but I guess it's great for wrench turners.
  11. Nice job Travis, looks really sweet. I love the antiqued dark finish it's going took really nice put together!
  12. 2597-22 - Tool Up $299 2594-22 - Tool Up $289 Yikes! Still I have experience with the Fuel M12 and that is an awesomely powerful machine.
  13. So the Hitachi 12" has the axial glide. What do you think about their saws? I have a basement workshop and space is really limited and that would be a really sweet feature.
  14. Well DR....I unfortunately don't have the cash for that! I do want the Domino though and am going to get the TI15 Impactor at some point. The Kapex is going to cost about 1600 the way i want it so I'll slum with Bosch (totally kidding, phenomenal tool) for my next Miter (?). Maybe Dewalt will make one in the US and that could result in my second Dewalt tool! I'm definitely going with a dual bevel sliding miter saw this time.
  15. Plus the compressor scares the crap out of my dog. Hello Ryobi Airstrike!
  16. No problemo thanks for the update!
  17. My new T15+3 has the electronic clutch Travis. It is REALLY sweet. It does take a little bit getting used to but it is precise as heck. Also, nice review Javier. As always!
  18. Darn straight Travis! Bring on the Festool for the Snob! Also Wayne, I just bought a new Metabo SXE400 on eBay for $76!!!!! Guy bought it and never used it even once! Wicked stoked. My first Metabo tool. Will look nice next to my Festool RO90

    First Ryobi tools...

Hey DY, does the laser look like it lines up alright with the cut line? I am going to bite the bullet and buy the Ryobi Airstrike but so far, other than my Ryobi router table (which actually is pretty nice with a huge work area) my shop is devoid of Ryobi tools.
  20. Nice find Gator, I haven't used the Tstaks but I am real fan of the l boxxes and Systainers. Any idea on price yet for the dolly or cart.
  21. I've got the M18 Sawzall (2620) and the circular saw (2630) (I am going to be hated for this (I am a Milwaukee guy) but I don't like my Sawzall (non brushless). Not a huge amount of power and the shoe is fixed. I had the (I'm going to be hated for this) Makita circular and Recip saw and I liked my Makita Recip saw better (shoe was moveable and plenty of power)....But....every other tool I've had from Milwaukee is better in my opinion. The circular saw however is awesome. It cuts great but does eat batteries pretty quick, as do most cordless saws. I will upgrade my batteries to the 4.0 at some point but I have been saving money for some tools from Festool and truthfully my 3.0 batteries are still top notch. Heck, I've been using my M18 light to take my dog, Rufus the Terrible, out for walks at night as well as it's intended use. The batteries last and last. Regardless, the kit from Milwaukee is a great deal. If you can the circular saw over the Sawzall I'd do that and save up for the Milwaukee Fuel Sawzall. That looks pretty sweet.
  22. Nice job Javier! I love mine too. Oh and by the way....EVERYBODY, knows the belt clip belongs on the right side of the tool
  23. I think that is true. The members seem to be completely true to TiA and it shows in the forum. Tool Select had a decent forum with some really good members that contributed regularly and some of them have come over here and continue to do the same. The members that I don't see here, I miss hearing from. Some really skilled tradesman and regular Joe's like me too that know quite a bit. That's good, it's good to see regulars contributing there knowledge on our forum here. When I found out about TiA a couple of years ago I was really stoked and have had some great help along the way by the members here and I like that. Additionally the plus is the video reviews that Eric and Dan put out high quality and funny as heck.
