    Weight of dcn692

On another note the kick isn't too bad with this gun. The weight certainly helps with it. Not a fun gun to hang from a 1-1/2" belt though ?. You know, unless you want to look like a plumber?

    Weight of dcn692

I think it's relative to the actual motor as opposed to the air system which doesn't need it. I've got the 692 and it is awesome. I've had it a couple of years now and have had a couple of jams but only a couple. Fantastic nailer.

    Routers

Fantastic. Really awesome little palm router and the kit is perfect. Plus....I got it on Amazon for $29, I think it was an accident but they honored the price.

    Routers

Willy, I have the Bosch 1617EVS, the Makita RT0701, the Festool MFK700eq, the Festool OF1010 and the Festool OF1400. I'm a router junkie ?
  5. I've had Bosch tools and still have a couple of 12v tools in my shop. They make decent tools for professional and home work your can't go wrong with them. My main line shop tools are Festool but I have a lot of Dewalt and Makita tools in the shop. I would say you can't go wrong with any of these tool lineups. I have tried many times to keep just one tool lineup in the cordless arena but have finally given up. For CORDLESS tools... Festool T18, CXS, TXS and the HKC55 as well as the Syslite. Dewalt 20v hammer, 3 speed impact, 60vgrinder 60v circular and a hedge trimmer and blower. Makita 18v subcompact impact, brushless barrel grip jigsaw, sander, grinder and a chain saw. Bosch 12v flashlight and two jackets. That Dewalt hammer and impact are game changers for framing and heavy duty use. My small Makita collection is amazing. My Festool are absolutely choice but really $$$$. Regardless...Dewalt, Bosch, Milwaukee, Makita etc etc etc you can't go wrong.
  6. Thanks Joe, that means a lot sir!
  7. Yeah the Triton is a no brainer, I'd go with that
  8. https://www.lie-nielsen.com/product/low-angle-jack-plane Just ordered this beast! I'll be getting the hot dog handle for it next but pretty stoked. I have a bench to build and this is going to make life a happy happy joy joy kind of thing ??????
  9. Look into Axminster tools in the U.K. if your serious about getting the Bosch. The pound exchange is still high in the U.K. Favor however if you want one it's best to go there. As far as Mafell there is a seller on EBay that sells from out of cou try the 110v Mafells cheaper than Toolnut and Timberwolf and they require little retrofitting for USA use.

    New Sander

One more thing. The RO90DX is a phenomenal tool. I don't use it for finish sanding just the first part of the finishing and the Rotex mode will literally flatten out mountains.

    New Sander

I do Kurt. One of my favorites. Works really well with DC and the swirl pattern is fantastic. Very little feedback to the user when aggressive sanding. I've never used the dust canister that comes with it but it looks pretty solid.
  12. I cannot remember who, one of our guys bought the 18v Bosch track saw with the Bosch rails which are Mafell. I want to say @overanalyze or @rrich1 but I cant remember.
  13. Yeah, KMS. DONT BUY FROM KMS!!!!!. (If your in the USA) They screwed me on shipping and import fees. I have bought from IHL and they were great to deal with.
  14. It won't be a slouch dude, I've got the 575, the thing is awesome.
  15. Awesome, I hope it does, it would save people money in the long run for mixing tools.
  16. The splinter guard is an awesome feature and so is dust collection, can't wait to hear your thoughts on this bad boy.
  17. I don't think it will Carroll. The track is totally different as is the base of the saw. Festool and Makita work together, Dewalt and Magellan don't though Magellan and Bosch do.
  18. So does this have a riving knife like on my Festool? If so....sweeeeeet
  19. Do the two knobs on the shoe adjust the friction from the saw onto the rail?
  20. http://www.leevalley.com/us/wood/page.aspx?cat=1,230,41182,48945&p=73208 Definitely a cool idea ?
  21. I am assuming that Dewalt tracks are like Festool and Makita and you can join the tracks together with bar connectors to allow you to cut full length sheets of plywood. But joining the, and placing the saw directly over the seam this ensures that the two tracks are straight and not offset.
  22. Just read he's got a pretty sweet NFL retirement set up. And some other locked in monies. Too bad he can't bring it with him when his time runs out.
  23. Welcome to the forum @jazzycat glad to have you here. I have an Ego blower and mower. Love them. Fantastic bit of kit.
