  1. Go to Harry's and buy the Truman Razor set or something like that! Pretty inexpensive and I have two of their razors, they are fantastic and styled really nice.
  2. Hahahaha wow. That's actually pretty cool. Axes say so many things to a man!
  3. So....being a nerd.....I saw Rogue One this Saturday with my brother in law, his son and a friend of ours. It was truly awesome. Especially for the Star Wars nerd that picks up stuff....including a scene in which the characters Jyn and Diego board some cool looking space ship at the rebel base. Apparently the Rebel council recognizes how good Dewalt is, especially compared to those red tools, and had a few tough system boxes on board for carrying supplies in the deep vastness of outer space. Anyways, I'm watching the characters have a conversation after boarding this ship and right there in the background on board the ship are several Dewalt Tough System boxes with painted black latches, piled up. Pretty cool, pretty nerdy.
  4. I have used the warranty once and it is a great warranty. At this point I can still get parts for the bed at a discount as the warranty continues chugging along
  5. I've had a sleep number for 14 years. It's awesome. I've had to replace a couple of foam insert dividers but it is an awesome bed. I bought the higher end one with the pillow top and it's completely washable, super light weight and I've never had a problem with the air bags.
  6. So I would suggest going Bora. A lot cheaper through Woodpeckers and it's the same thing. It's actually a pretty cool tool
  7. Good. I'm glad they are taking this to the next level. It's hard for me to get into that lineup though, especially having the new compact brushless impact. Can use my 18v batteries and is as small as a 12v!
  8. Nice Phil! Can't wait to see that bombing around NH!
  9. http://www.woodpeck.com/bora-miterix-angle-duplicator.html?_bta_tid=284186905376000619741452060720346362401245169370189513957430727277836630418677013520667&_bta_c=9niyzilqygpfknmfy6p2uxy3s1r7t Hey guys, being a Festool guy, my Kapex came with a tool just like this and it has proven itself invaluable for laying out baseboard and the like. I got an email from woodpeckers for the Bora tool which is essentially the same as the one included with my kapex. Really a cool tool to have on hand, just thought I'd share

    BTD144 Problem

    Awesome! Glad it's fixed dude.
  11. Welcome to the forums dude!
  12. I AM!!!!! THATS THE PROBLEM!!!!!
  13. Dude....Worst mistake of my life. I googled it. Threw up. Then pasted it. Now? I can't sleep.
  14. Sorry for the confusion @Jaybird but you started two of these topics so I just merged them together
  15. Fantastic work Rich! I would love to see what goes on the other side too!
  16. I'd add Bosch has an awesome 12v lineup that I love. They are certainly super compact tools compared to some of the Milwaukee lineup and currently have the second largest lineup of subcompact 12v tools however I digress....you asked about Makita and I don't own any of those 12v tools. I own a few 18v tools and the build quality of above expectation with every one of my Makita's . Hope that helps!
  17. Yeah, if I had not received 40% off I would. It have gotten the saw. I'm glad I did, it is an unbelievable machine from dust collection to finding angles on walls with the gauge to the micro adjustment knob to the trenching mechanism. Here in the USA it retails for a set price of $1475:00. Yeccccchhhhhh. Really an expensive piece of equipment for a home shop so the 60 is certainly cost conscious!
  18. Yup Conductor, agreed. That snow blower is cool as heck. That would be quite the hit at the Christmas parade!
  19. My shop has several mainstay tools in it including a dedicated DC unit, a miter saw, bandsaw, table saw, a jointer and planer, a small drill press and most recently a dedicated power mortiser. The mortiser was a special treat and the drill press is new to the shop within the last year but it is a valuable tool for me now that it is here. Also I have several routers and then an entire system of tools that are compact and fit very specific needs. Asking this question is a really tough question to ask of the members here. Everyone has an opinion and they vary. You could do a lot with a 7-1/4" circular with a bunch of jigs and go on from there. Or you could go completely nuts and spend 5k in an afternoon at Woodcraft!.
  20. That is a really good question. I haven't heard anything yet but I'd love to see the LED light set up like Dewalt started. The lasers are by far the best I've ever used but that LED is slick as snot. Still love the 120 though. It's an awesome machine and the price I paid for it during the recon sale a couple of years ago made the choice simple.
  21. Welcome to the forums Austin
  22. Sorry....public servant
  23. And naturally seeing the term latex.....well....it made me go to that dark place
  24. I'm literally.....speechless
