There's nothing prohibiting a new member from buying Jimbo, just selling. Personally I think a higher post count should be implemented to establish some more credibility on the forum but 25 is the minimum. Regardless, a new member should have every right to purchase something on the forum as there is no risk to the seller.

Remember it's part of a system Rich. To get the full benefits from the saw you really need to have the dust collection added. Though what you use is entirely up to you. A Ridgid vac with an adapter would be fine (obviously not as good as a sealed unit but...) to collect the dust from the machine. Totally worth it though. I've had mine for three years and it is my favorite tool. I have heard the Makita is also a great unit as well as the Bosch and I believe @wildroamer has the Bosch version.

Those masks are awesome Rich. Coming into my second year with mine for my ATV and all I can say is sweeeeeeeeeet! Used them most recently picking up 180 bales of hay with my in laws and I have hay fever. Nary a worry or a problem!

I think that's not a bad idea. It protects the purchaser if an issue went unresolved though the guys here are fantastic and I don't recall an issue popping up in the past. Still, not a bad idea.

Haha yeah I'm pretty opinionated about the 734. It's an awesome machine and I bought mine reconditioned from CPO and saved a tone of money for a brand new machine. It's great!

I've had mine for maybe three years. Still on the same set of blades. Phenomenal planer. I had once though of going with the 735 but I really cannot justify that expense when my 734 is so freakin' awesome.
