  1. As a Lightning fan, I'm still hurt. But congrats to the Blackhawks!
  2. We have the DCF620D2 (2.0Ah Batteries) & DCF620M2 (4.0Ah Batteries). There is no 5.0 Ah kit. I am going to avoid talking about cost, to avoid getting in trouble with any distributors. We do make a couple combo kits with the screw gun - DCK262M2 (4.0ah) & DCK261D2 (2.0ah) kits have the screw gun and impact driver. DCK263D2 (2.0Ah) has the screw gun and the drywall cut out tool.
  3. I've sold quite a bit of these to drywall contractors. I haven't heard anything bad about it.
  4. It's been done in a show before. Prison Break. Season 4, Episode 11
  5. Not enough demand in the U.S. for the tstack vac attachment. Plus you'd have to remove the t-stack every time you empty the vacuum. Not saying it will never come to the states, I was just told a while ago that there were no plans.

  7. The Dewalt Saws come with a 5 amp hour battery. Milwaukee Fuel saws come with a 4.0 Ah battery. Everyone one is hung up on brushless saws, but a Dewalt brushed saw with a 5.0ah battery has pretty close to the same run time as a brushless Milwaukee with a 4.0ah battery. Brushless motors in saws don't have as big of an impact in run time as they do in other "lighter duty" tools, like drills/impacts.
  8. Here is some coverage from the event: https://twitter.com/DEWALTtough https://twitter.com/hashtag/dewaltxp?src=hash https://www.facebook.com/toolsinaction
  9. The 20v vac is the DCV581H.
  10. This kit was made in China before. A lot of other dewalt tools are made in Mexico.
  11. I don't recognize that worm drive. It isn't the DWS535 is it?
  12. Great question. Legally, we cannot say "Made in the USA" because some of the parts of the drill are made overseas. For example, chucks, triggers, and batteries, circuit boards. Most if not all power tool companies don't make either of these items, they are purchased from other companies who make them for us. However, we do make some of the parts here in the US: Transmission Parts in Hampstead, MD.Drive Shafts in Jackson, TN.Tool Housings in Cheraw, SC.Wind Motors in the Charlotte, NC facilityFinal assembly in the Charlotte FacilityThe fact is, it would be nearly impossible to make 100% of the tool parts here in the states using 100% USA made materials (see metals, copper, etc). So that is why you don't see a lot of "Made in the USA" marketing anymore. Because legally if there are parts of the product that come from another country, it could mean a law suit. For example, Boeing builds airplanes here in the USA. I doubt they can say "made in the USA". Because parts of their planes come from all over the world. Same goes for car manufactures, and many other companies. They can however say "Built in the USA with global materials". Disclaimer: I am saying this stuff not as an employee of the company. Some of this info may be inaccurate but I am answering to the best of my knowledge.
  13. The DCF620 is not meant for decking/Fencing. Typically decking guns run at a lower RPM than a drywall gun. I don't know of any drywall screws that are square drive, If we see a large demand for drywall fasteners that are anything other than Phillips, we will look into offering other tips. Who knows, maybe we'll make a version of the DCF620 that is made for Decking/Fencing at some point.
  14. Do you have a model # for the square drive screws you are using? Also, is their a reason you prefer the square drive over the phillips drive? Are you doing drywall or are these for decking?
  15. I've e-mailed a product manager to find more info.
  16. Tuesday, the first 1,000 units of DEWALT premium brushless product rolled off the production line at our Charlotte Manufacturing Operations (CMO) facility in North Carolina, USA. First brushless kit to be built in the USA!
  17. I have seen no plans for a square drive bit for the collated attachment. The Phillips bit will start shipping next week. It is a proprietary bit (DWA6PHC2-5 or DWA6PHC2-B25) that has to be used with the collated attachment. Are you using collated screws with a square drive?
  18. Product started shipping this week in US!
  19. The DWV010 is around the $350 price range. HEPA/RRP compliantDual Automatic Filter CleaningTool Actuation15' Hose LengthAnti Static Hose
  20. Late June Launch according to the press release
  21. Great observation! We will have a blade specifically for this saw with the proper tooth angle. Though you can use a typical 7-1/4" blade, you'll have a much better cut with the miter blade.
