  1. Which Milwaukee Radio? Their new one has 2 speakers and doesn't have bluetooth. The other one they have that came out in early 2014 has bluetooth, but I can't find anywhere how many speakers it has (i'm going to guess 2). The new dewalt has 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers and features all the bells and whistles. Bluetooth, Charger, USB Charger. It's also built into a tough system box. I think your decision should be a no brainer.
  2. Thanks for the pics! I forgot to look at the bottom of it when I saw it this summer.
  3. That is correct, replacing the compact brushless drills. (Brushed DCF885 and DCD780 are still available)
  4. Cordless Sheers/Nibbler and concrete vibrator are the only other ones I can think of.
  5. DCD791D2: Metal Chuck Speed:0-550/0-2,000 RPM 460 UWO Length: 6.9" Weight: 3.4 lb DCD796D2: Metal Chuck 0-600/0-2,000 RPM 480 UWO Length: 7.5" Weight: 3.6 lb
  6. Awesome, report back after you've toyed with it!
  7. I haven't gotten mine yet either, it's killing me. It's the "tool" I've been most excited about all year, haha.
  8. The 887 will replace the 895 and the 886. You will probably see the 886 still ship in some combo kits for a while though. Not sure on pricing yet, should be around the same price as the 886. I'm surprised no body has mentioned the new light on the new drill (DCD791/796). 60 lumens and you can leave it on a 20 min timer.
  9. Sorry, I only know US Dates. I'm sure KWC will comment on Eur release date.
  10. Ricky posted this on a different thread: You'll see the other "?" in this video
  11. It will be out by Xmas. It is one of the "?" on my list above.
  12. In the US: Batteries: 1.5 & 2.0 Ah batteries have a 2 year warranty 3.0, 4.0 & 5.0 batteries have a 3 year warranty Tools: 3 year warranty,1 year free service and 90 day guarantee Exceptions: SDS/Spline Hammers with Shocks have 2 years free service KWC will have to speak to Europe warranties.
  13. I assume it's under warranty. Ask them to Warranty Exchange it for you.
  14. The e-clutch does pulsate when it clutches out, we did that so it felt like a mechanical clutch to the user. However, it's not supposed to do that in drilling/hammer mode.
  15. They are working on another 20v tool, should launch in time for spring.
  16. These will come with a 12v battery shaped adapter that you can put AA batteries in. So you can use a 12v battery or AA batteries. You can see it in the video.
  17. It could have been a part change or something internally. Usually small changes when there is a type change.
  18. I like my job too much to give clues Should be announced really soon.

  20. Priming is a legacy NiCD behavior and does not transfer over to the 20V MAX Batteries. Check and see if you are fully engaging the terminals on the charger. DCB107, DCB112 (this charger is packed with tools that come with the DCB203) exhibit a behavior where if the pack is not fully engaged and locked into the charger, the LED will blink and go solid, but there is no charge current flowing through the pack.
  21. You are correct, just because it's brushless doesn't mean that it hits any harder. But don't downplay the increase in run time. The DCH273P2 got 80% more run time compared to the DCH253 in our tests, some of that is because of the larger battery, but a bigger portion of that is because of the brushless motor.
  22. It wasn't discontinued that long ago, some distributors may still have some inventory. As for our website, it just hasn't been taken off yet. I did a google search and some of the retailers said "no longer in stock".
  23. The DCH273P2 replaced the DCH253M2. Unless you can find some old DCH253's laying around, your only option will be the DCH273P2. The DCH273 is not only brushless, but it comes with 5.0Ah batteries. Larger gas tank and brushless motor means 80% more runtime than the DCH253. There will also be a vac attachment for the DCH273 that is not available for the DCH253.
