  1. Any 18v Dewalt battery will work in the DC820B. Including the DC9099 batteries. The DC9096 batteries are a higher amp hour and will give you more run time though.
  2. Dust attachment is not available in US at this time. Also not sure if it ever will be. Until there is enough demand for it...
  3. Thanks for using Dewalt!
  4. There was decent amount of 28v tools for a short time before the line got discontinued.
  5. I'm sad to say, there are no plans to bring the t-stack attachment to the states. I asked during a recent new products call. They said users thought it was more of an inconvenience, because you had to remove the boxes from the vac in order to empty the vac. Not enough folks said they were interested in it. Keep in mind, most of the people that are buying this vac are doing concrete work and not necessarily using it in the shop. This may change down the road, but for now, you may have to get one from EUR.
  6. Not in the US, only cordless option was 28v
  7. Awww Man! FYI.. the DW745 was replaced by the DWE7480 in US. They still release the DW745 as a special buy occasionally.
  8. Here is a recent thread that blew up when Chris was looking for a new miter saw. Read through it, I think he went with the Dewalt. http://professional-power-tool-guide.com/power-tool-forum/index.php?/topic/4878-milwaukee-6950-80-miter/
  9. It has been discontinued, a quick google search I was able to find some still available. I don't think the track saw market took off quite as much as we expected it too for us. Launching it at the beginning of a recession didn't help either.
  10. The new DWV010 8 gallon is available now. Considerably less expensive than the DWV012.
  11. We have another role separate from mine, here in the US, that handles testing new prototypes. Those guys are always working with Product Managers/Engineers out in the field as well as trying to convert large contractors to yellow & black.
  12. I can't speak for KWC, but yes, we get demo tools. Typically when a new product launches, they will send everyone a sample so that we can go show it to our distributors and demo it for end users. We don't get sent everything, so they do give us a budget to order other samples that we may need. It's a fun job!
  13. 36v: http://www.dewalt.com/tools/cordless-saws-circular-saws-dc300k.aspx
  14. Unless you're comfortable opening it up, I would just take it to a repair center. http://dewalt.com/Find-Service-Center.aspx
  15. Do you work for Dewalt or a distributor KWC?
  16. They are also double edge sharpened, so when one side wares out, just flip them over. When you buy, look for the DW735X, "x" being that it comes with the in feed and out feed tables and an extra set of knives.
  17. You can use the DCR002 adapter in your Bosch http://www.dewalt.com/tools/cordless-radio-chargers-dcr002.aspx
  18. There is a good chance of this
  19. Check these out: http://www.powers.com/product_06401SD.php I don't know a whole lot about anchors, but I've learned a little since we purchased Powers a few years back. Drop in's aren't approved in my state either, a lot of customers started using these instead. It's also on the approved list you provided a link too.
  20. You may have already figured it out, but the DW718 was replaced by the DWS780. The 780 comes with the light out of the box, and it's actually 3 LED's, so a lot brighter than the one you were able to just add on to the 718. I don't think you'll be disappointed by the 780. It's only 57 lbs if I remember correctly. Haven't seen if Ridgid has come out with a new model recently but theirs could be used as a boat anchor and it was huge. The 780 also has the largest cutting capacity than any other 12" slide on the market.
  21. Why doesn't TTI allow you to use Milwaukee batteries in Ryobi or Ridgid tools? The other reason why europe didn't go with the 20v name is because the 18v platform there was a fraction of what it is in the US. I assume they stopped selling 18v stem packs as soon as XR/20v/slide packs came out.
  22. When they changed most of the kits from 3.0 to 4.0ah batteries they did not raise the price. There is a small increase in price going from 4.0 to 5.0.
  23. They already are! DCS380P1 Recip Saw DCS391P1 Circ Saw DCS373P2 Metal Cutting Circ Saw DCG412P2 Grinder DCS371P1 Band Saw
