  1. Ah true. I do that on the iPhone as well. There's a nice app for that (ColorSplash) I can do it with Photoshop but on the iPhone is much easier with great result.
  2. And that comes from someone who calls himself DEWALTDUDE Thanks! The pictures are shot with my iPhone 4. Works pretty well as I'm no expert photographer.
  3. My weekly yellow fix Came in today. About time I got myself a decent pair of workstands. Didn't know the holes for adding a 2x4 are pre-drilled. Nice one!
  4. And it's one of the better ones available. There are a lot of plastic models, but the DeWalt is metal, has a pressure valve and pressure gauge. The modelnumber is D215824. Yep. The chuck is removeable. It came with 2. An SDS+ chuck and a regular chuck for bits and stuff. It's a pretty nice line of diamond tools. The D21853K diamond drill (there are 3 versions) Or the D21585 Vacuum pump for drilling stand Drilling stand (3 models) And a bunch of accessories for the above, like clamps or anchors
  5. Thanks! It's a water/pressure tank that you use with wall saws or with diamond drilling equipment. That is, if no water connection is available (or too far away) DeWalt has a whole range of diamond drilling equipment. Or you can use it to water the plants in the backyard
  6. Didn't the US have/had the DC010 model also? It's more ore less the same as the DW911, but without the charger function. It had grey speakercovers instead of black ones. I got a few for free as one DeWalt Center would give them away on orders over an x amount. One is in the workshop, the other I gave away recently (it came with my compressor). I'm using the DC013 now and do like it. It's quite a bit heavy though and when runing on a 18V Li-ion battery it will play for about 8 -10 hours, depending a bit on the volume level and bass on/off. Sometimes there's little interference when charging, but no biggie. The USB feature I haven't used. Rather would see it inverted to put a USB stick with music in there so it will play. Some radio's do have this feature and I like it. Don't wanna have an iPhone or iPod attached on the jobsite. An USB stick however...
  7. I don't know. Looking at other brands it would be a strange move from DeWalt not offering dividers / trays to store tools or accessories. Let's wait and see what will be available at launch.
  8. Thanks! It won't destroy any battle-bot, but attach a nailer and it's still deadly
  9. Well then, let it have a shiny new yellow coating It's actually pretty easy to disassemble to got the bare tank/frame to paint. You only need to cover up the mounting holes so paint won't hit the female threads. Then get yourself the labelkit from DeWalt service. It has all the stickers in one kit. Will look brand spanking new. After all, it's a DeWalt, so you gotta treat it well
  10. Ok, this is not my entire set since most of it sits inside a van. I rather don't take it all out for a picture. Maybe sometime when I have redone the inside of the van. In the meantime, here's my new D55155 air compressor. I bolted some wheels onto the frame since I don't want to carry this thing around too much. In the works is a retractable handle, similar to some of DeWalt's wheeled compressors. Why? Because DeWalt air compressors are discontinued in the EU and there weren't any with wheels. Got lucky to got this one new from a DeWalt Center in my country. Pretty much the last one available.
  11. Guess I will have to bring some DeWalt yellow paintscraps to the local paintshop for identification... I figured Madtec would have joined the conversation by now, but I doubt even European cookies would help to drop a code or two
  12. Does anyone know the DeWalt color codes. I found some that belong to the plastic housing of (cordless) tools, but I'm looking for the color that is on metal stuff, like their compressors or rolling stand. It's a matte finish. If there are RAL numbers.... then please
  13. That picture was indeed removed (together with the other images in the other topic) It wasn't posted here and it won't return before DeWALT announced the new line. Sorry. Burned my fingers once already... Also have a picture with a cordless light, reciprocating saw and circ. saw. Great stuff. Just be patient...
  14. I've never seen those, except for this very image that goes around the net. One could easily make these as you can buy those systainers in black and the locks in several different colors incl. yellow. Add a sticker or two and you have exactly that. If anyone has more info about this...
  15. True, most brands are jumping on the systainer train. I only have one tool from Protool that comes in a systainer. It's not bad. They have been around for years. I noticed there's a new model systainer with a different locking system, but overall it's not a huge improvement. This DeWALT system however screams "heavy duty". Jobsite tough, exactly what we need
  16. Most of us are familiar with the Festool/TTS systainer concept. Forget about it. DEWALT has the answer and they call it the Tough System 4-1. Another fine result of the merger with Stanley. First the handtools, now the storage. It seems (initially) there will be 3 models and a trolly. I think this will be EU first, but US will surely follow. Some interesting bits to know - You can secure the systainers on the trolly with a padlock - The systainers have a waterproof seal around the lid, keeping water and dust away from tools/accessories This is great. Let's hope that in a near future they are gonna sell their tools in systainers as well, or provide inserts to change from toughbox to systainer. The small systainer The medium systainer The large systainer The trolley
  17. Jeez, how many drills can one have Nice yellow collection though.
  18. I know, but I've seen a picture of this new work stand together with the clamp. However I cannot locate that picture anymore. That little rectangular hole on the side, that's where you slide in the part of the clamp that also slides in the bottom of the track, so you can clamp anything down to the stand.
  19. I hope these will enter the EU market soon as I am in need of a pair of decent work stands. Also I like how you can use the tracksaw clamps with this stand
