  1. Fixed the pictures. Also I made some new ones today. I am running out of space, but I got almost everything in there that I need. Just a little modification I will do once I get some new tools that are still on my list.
  2. I really like those stickers on them. Looks very good. Ah yes, someone told me the pictures are not viewable. I am actually re-uploading them now...
  3. Really nice. Did you custom paint the trestles? Never seen them in black and with those stickers. Looks good!
  4. I might need to make space in my van for one of these for all the (spare) accessories like bits and stuff.
  5. Nice collection indeed. What are your plans for the garage setup?
  6. DeWALT Ireland have it listed on their website http://www.dewalt.ie/powertools/productoverview/hierarchy/43/ The offer with a T-stak case they have here in the Netherlands. Not sure if this is limited to just my country or not.
  7. Discontinued? Where are you from? I bought one not so long ago and DeWALT is actually offering this together with a T-Stak case now (not sure if this offer applies for all of Europe)
  8. You're right. I was under the impression they sold this in the US too, but a quick look at DeWALT.com learned this is an EU model. So discard my earlier message.
  9. This is what he means with barrel grip This type of grip is only available as a corded model (DW333K) and not in cordless. I recently bought this exact model and although I never used one with this kind of grip before (am familiar with the regular grip models from DeWALT) I like it. It gives better control especially when doing precise cuts. In the end it is just a matter of what you personally like best. None is better than the other.
  10. The easiest way is to read the manual in this case. It provides all the steps to (re)align your saw, both miter and bevel. See here http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Products/Detail/DW718#, download the manual and look for page 7
  11. I bought one a few days ago. Reciprocating saws are the kind of saws I do not like because of the often heavy vibration and unbalanced feel. So when DeWALT first announced this new DWE357 it caught my interest. Having one now I am impressed. It feels very comfortable in the hands, mainly due to the familiar rubberized grip, but most of all, it is balanced just right. Also I like the 4-position blade clamp and the blade change lever. Big improvement over the old style blade change system. I never liked that.
  12. DCF895 (Brushless Impact) is my favorite and I use it the most.
  13. Sorry, have not seen that topic. This one can be removed.
  14. Just saw this on DeWALT.com The DLX3810-06. A 6 foot fiberglass stepladder. Looking a bit further I noticed they have a whole range of ladders up on their website. http://dewalt.com/tool-categories/ladders.aspx Seems like DeWALT is expanding their line of tools.
  15. wow, just WOW. I got my Brushless impact driver yesterday. What a powerfull machine this is. I was already impressed with it's predecessor (DCF885), but the brushless steps it up. I also like the one-hand-operated chuck.
  16. I don't know. I've read on DeWALT's Facebook page that an Android version is in the works. No word about Blackberry.
  17. An Android version is in the works.
  18. My DeWALT rep talked about this, but would not go into details yet. All he said some weeks ago is that there was something new coming regarding the batteries.
  19. Monday I received my new DeWALT levels. Big thanks to Deshi for helping me out on getting these and have them shipped from US to EU. A few days ago I mounted them in the van. The little one (24") I have in my toolbag.

Why? Isn't there enough already? One thing though. If they already have an oscillating tool at launch DeWALT can't be far behind right?
  21. Thanks kjones! Having all the abrasives thrown around inside is not what I liked. This is so much better. Could have done with 2 spikes I think. As far as the ToughSystem goes. Today I got 2 of the foam inlays. In EU the modelnr. for these is DWST7-97150. I am not sure if this is designed for all 3 boxes. It fits perfectly in the DS150 and the modelnumber suggests it's for the DS150 as well. Should be hitting US soon I think. Here are some pictures. This is one of them inside a DS150 This is 2 of them stacked together inside a DS150 Snug fit
  22. I used aluminum 25x25mm, because I didn't want to use steel as I had to have it coated in the end. But square aluminum pipe really is square and the brackets are designed for rounded edges. So for that steel will work better. Or you have to modify the brackets like I did. Also you have to drill holes at the back of your rails. 25mm from center to center is what I did and resulted in a perfect height between the cases.
  23. Side is all done now. Blades are hanging and not bouncing around on a nail or screw. To be honest I liked the look when the blades weren't there. But I needed proper storage for them.
  24. Thanks! Which mounting brackets do you mean? The ones where you slide the cases on? Those are part of DeWALT's ToughSystem and are called the "DS Brackets". These can be ordered in sets of 2. US item# DWST08212 (EU item# DS Brackets / 1-70-362) For some reason they aren't listed (yet?) on DeWALT.com
