  1. The word is out. Coming in october in Europe.
  2. This is not new. Well, for us European guys it is, but it has been available in the US for some years already. Very handy little holder!
  3. You're gonna love it. I've seen it at Silverstone. It has some excellent features. Can't say too much yet. Good thing I waited to get a multitool!
  4. Aren't the electronics actually the issue that would prohibit using stempack batteries (18V) in slidepack tools (20V Max / 18V XR)? Even with an adapter/convertor...
  5. Those are vinyl wrapped. Maybe if they would provide the artwork templates they used, as a free download to ToughSystem owners. So they can take it to a local printer, have it printed and apply it themselves. By no means it will still be expensive as it is all printed on vinyl. A cheaper option would be just a set of stickers...
  6. I was at the Silverstone event yesterday and spoke to the SBD/DeWALT guy who had those boxes made, the night before. These are only for promotion. They have 13 sets made to show at (MotoGP) events throughout Europe. An additional 2 sets have been made for the Tech3 Yamaha MotoGP team which they will use on their raceweekends. There is a lot of interest from customers for these boxes actually, but he said it is too costly to make. Here are 2 pics I took yesterday from the one they had on display.. It's really nice, but I don't think the vinyl will withstand daily (ab)use and exposure to the elements over time.
  7. Hi. You can look for a DeWALT Service Center near you : http://www.dewalt.com/Find-Service-Center.aspx and contact them to order the trigger. Or you can order the part online : http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Parts/Search?searchedNumber=dw705&searchType=0 Just choose your model and type and look for the part you need.
  8. The DS400 has an insert that will hold chisels and/or screwdrivers. Not sure if it fits the DS300, but I guess so since all the boxes have the same width. The insert can be purchased as a spare part. Partnumber is 1004568-03 (for Europe)
  9. I made some pictures from my router today. This should make it more clear...
  10. The base should have 2 little screws on a recessed area where you can attach the bushings. It works like that on the EU version of this router. Edit, see this. Hope it helps...
  11. Now with 20v Max 4.0Ah batteries, does the 36v 2.2Ah batteries still beat that in runtime?
  12. I wonder if these are just a one-off marketing thingie for when they attend the MotoGP races or a ltd. edition to be sold...
  13. You're welcome. What are you building/gonna build?
  14. Hello Steveo205 or Mr. Arrow Thanks for the nice words. Indeed I am proud of the result. It's still a joy to use To answer your questions... 1.The nut and bolt which hold the saw blades. The bolt is a regular M14 bolt. The flange on which the blade is sitting is a flange from the DWS780 mitersaw (= also the same flange from a DW718 for example) You can take just about any flange as long as the bore size from the blade is the same. In my case it's 30mm (which is the same on 305mm and 250mm sawblades. On the picture it is holding 250mm blades from the tablesaw) Partnumber for the DeWALT flange is : N081035 (Europe) or 644999-00 (US) Then I had an M14 nut welded on the back. This nut suits 2 purposes. 1. to fix the flange to make it easier when storing a blade, 2. to secure the bolt. To lock the blade I use a keyless lock nut. They are specifically designed for use with angled grinders, but for storing sawblades it works equally well. This is also the reason why I choose an M14 bolt as the thread on angled grinders is also M14 = the same as the keyless lock nut. Well, at least in Europe. Not sure about US... For the keyless locking nut you can take any brand. I know Bosch sells them. I used the ones from Interdynamics as they are cheaper. There are a variety of brands selling these. If you need helping locating, just ask. Actually DeWALT just came out with one of their own. It's quite pricey though, so for storage use just take a cheaper model. Here's a close up so you can see the welded nut on the back This is the keyless locking nut (M14) 2. The sprung-loaded poles I got through our fastener supplier, Wurth. It's part of their Orsy Mobil catalogue. Partnumber is 0963 99 011. They had a great deal for this set around the time I was building the van. It comes with 4 airline rails. You should be able to get something similar from any company that specializes in van storage or cargo/load fastening for vans/trucks. The organizer is from Stanley (Fatmax), modelnr. 1-94-746. They are sold in packs of 3. 3. The fixing mount for the aluminum tube is from De Melker, a Dutch company. I bought them here http://metaalwinkel-metalen.nl/Muur+en+vloer+flenzen+Aluminium+vierkantebuis.mw (last one on the page) Hope this helps
  15. With some alteration it would make the perfect mitersawstand
  16. Thanks for checking this. Mystery solved
  17. I was wrong. Mine has it as well... Not a problem to me though.
  18. I'll check my DWS780 tomorrow. Never really noticed it, but from my mind it's pretty much centered.
  19. Which saw do you have? I know the DWS780 has re-adjustable kerf plates.
  20. Part of their handtool line-up, so yes, mostlikely US only.
  21. Just found these. Available for a while now in the US. DWFP12232 18-Gauge 1-1/2-Inch Narrow Crown Stapler DWFP12231 18-Gauge 2-Inch Brad Nailer
  22. Not much information yet, but this came passing by on Twitter from our friends at TIA...
  23. I think you mean this... It's the DE0882, but it's not available worldwide. Seems to be only in Europe.
  24. I moved this and other "powertool" topics to the right subforum; "Powertool General Talk" instead of the "Hand Tools" section. Just so you know. Nothing is deleted, just moved to the right category.
  25. For PVC you could use the DT4288 or DT4290 for example. I have the DT4290. Though I haven't cut PVC with it, I use it for aluminium and it works perfect. Nice clean cuts.
