  1. You mean the brackets? There are just a regular accessory and not a spare part. The modelnr. for these is DWST08212. They are sold in pairs. I like how universal the cases are. A couple of weeks ago I bought myself a new 125mm grinder. Modified a small case to carry grinding discs without them being thrown around inside the case.
  2. Today the end user rep told me that DeWALT now also offer spare parts for the ToughSystem cases. I've looked it up at the service website and it looks like you can get all the parts except for the box and lid. Which seems pretty normal because if either one of them gets damaged it's best to replace the whole ToughSystem. I'm missing one thing.... the DeWALT sticker that is on top of the lid (image is from the DS150) Also, DeWALT is gonna start selling foam inlays for these boxes. I don't know the modelnumber and price yet, but it's that pick&pluck foam, so I have been told. So you can make a custom inlay for all your needs.
  3. 36v MAX brushless line with 4.0Ah batteries. Sign me up!
  4. It's not an uncommon accessory. Even Stanley offers one here in EU. Wonder why DeWALT doesn't offer this in the US. I'm sure you could get it from eBay, but with shipping and taxes it might be a bit too much. @ Steve1616. A DeWALT powertool in one hand, a beautiful girl in the other
  5. This must be the king of impact drivers. I'll definitely get me one when they hit stores in EU.
  6. That's a great feature. No more up and down ladders/roofs with almost empty batteries. Too bad they didn't offer this on the 20v Max initial launch. Oh well, one can't have everything
  7. Looks like all the tools that have been posted here the last weeks. No sign of the new radio/charger, but the dual charger is there.
  8. 57% more runtime with a brushless motor compared to a 20v Max brushed motor. Keep an eye on DeWALTTech @ Twitter for live updates. (this topic should be in the "new power tools" section I think)
  9. Yeah, it's the telescopic pole DE0882 for the laser. Very nice improvement over the older model Well, actually I had 1 empty case already reserved for the DCF885 Impact driver as it was on top of my wishlist. So that's no problem The laser will stay in the case it came in as it fits perfectly and putting it in a toughcase without any insert would mean it would bounce around while driving. Not recommended. Maybe if I could make a foam insert for it... A system is in the works actually. I think both for vans and for wall mounting. Maybe next year we will see something. This year was the initial launch and now they can build upon the system. I am extremely happy with it. Even though it's quite an investment if you make the change at once like I did. You could always do it in steps ofcourse. If you are gonna build a system, keep us informed about the progress. I'd love to see how others put it to use.
  10. It was a nice visit. Learned some more about the company. The end user specialist had a really nice van too. Not so much for the racking as his interior suits a different purpose, but the van was fully equiped with all the latest DeWALT tools. He demonstrated the new DW089k crossline laser. They also took pictures of my van and the rack. All in all it was really nice to meet them and because I was the 1st to make use of the Toughsystem in a van, DeWALT / StanleyBlack&Decker gave me these tools and a lot of goodies.
  11. Thanks for the nice comments! This coming wednesday DeWALT will pay a visit. They are also gonna take pictures of my "toughrack". @ Dano They are great. Really, they are very strong and are very well build. I've literally jumped on them to test it out. Not a single cracking noise or such. I really like the seal around the lid which keeps dust and water away from the tools. Also the system with the brackets is great. At first I was skeptical if they would hold up well due to the forces on them while driving. Especially on bumpy roads and fast braking/cornering. I've checked it multiple times, but they hold up very well. As for inserts. I've got the premium XR 18v XRP hammerdrill which came in a toughcase. It had a foam inlay, which is nice, but I removed it to make room for more accessories. Some 18v XR combokits come in a toughcase with plastic inlay which is really nice. So I think DeWALT will eventually come up with more inserts.
  12. If you look at the modelnumber it looks like a brandnew product from the new range of stands.
  13. Today they delivered the remaining cases and I just finished my "Toughrack".
  14. Thanks for the nice comments! I'm really happy with the result. I'll add some more pics when all is done.
  15. Thanks Deshi. Same here. I wish we had some of the US stuff here. This is the current status. I ordered some more cases but will have to wait till next week untill I get them. Then I can finish the rack and sort everything. It works great and can really recommend it. Even for home or shop use. Put some rails up on the wall and mount some brackets. They hold up well
  16. Yes, the brackets (from DeWALT) will go onto these rails and the cases slide onto the brackets. Similar to the Toughsystem trolley. I drilled holes on the back of the rails with 25mm between every hole. This is for the height adjustment. The brackets have a little pin inside which slide into the drilled hole. This is for easy height adjustment. Then you tighten the bolt on the bracket. Yep, 3 banks of cases. Quite some cases, but I have a lot of stuff to carry around.
  17. Thanks guys! Nice to hear. I finished mounting the rails and ran into a (luxury) problem. I am short on Toughsystem cases and brackets. Here a (blurry) pic when I just finished the rails earlier today.
  18. Here's the current update of my van rebuild. Received some aerosol racks a day or two ago. I've seen many, tried some but these are the best I could find. Made in the USA. In the back is my new DWS780. The other side. This is where I will mount aluminum rails. I drilled a lot of holes for the height adjustment of the ToughSystem brackets that go onto the rails. I can't wait till the last parts come in so I can finally organize my cases. They are all over the place everytime. Edit. the parts came in today so I can start finishing the racks. And the side. Now with airvents on the left so the pressure when shutting the sliding door can escape through there. Otherwise the pressure has nowhere to go and the door just won't lock in place.
  19. As long as it will play music from an USB stick I'm happy
  20. The yellow from the plastic housings is ES283 "Deep Yellow". The black is ES0006 "Black".
  21. Thanks! Yep. It's just a coincidence though. Back in the day we used to have orange vans and a truck. Then in 2003 we bought 2 new ones and had the others repainted. They changed the color to yellow. That was before things went all DeWALT Not my choice though. I opted for black.
  22. I am currently redoing the inside of one of our company vans. I'm halfway there. Already did the sides, doors, raised floor and divider. Almost finished the part that holds my DW744 tablesaw. Thinking of adding an aluminum rail to hold the sawblades. I know you can store them on the saw, but I don't like them to grind over eachother like that. Also will be finishing up the back in the coming weeks I hope. This is the last week of work before the 3-week summer holiday. So 3 weeks to spent inside the van instead of outside Will be adding a custom build Toughsystem system. Ordered in several of the new cases. Pics will follow when done.
  23. So these will also be available together with the XR launch in Europe on June 1st. The small systainer is the DS150 (150mm height) and a capacity of 15 litres. The medium systainer is the DS300 (300mm height) and has a capacity of 35 litres. The large systainer is the DS400 (400mm height) and has a capacity of 55 litres. They all have a water/dust seal around the lid and a pressure valve on top. The cart is the DS Carrier. Check out this video
  24. Came in today. The hose from Germany, the nailer from the UK. Although I don't think I will use the nailer a lot. Couldn't resist as it was fairly cheap (discontinued tool).
