  1. Thanks Chris! You can easily adapt your Festool crown stops to add custom wings. Alot of guys have done it. It does take a little modification and fabrication to your stops. Or just sell yours and order the Multiblades ones.
  2. We have a Ridgid SVU stand. I wanted the wings for full work support regardless of the length of material. One thing that would drive me nuts is when cutting smaller pieces, if the piece wasn't long enough to get to the roller it would fall down after you cut it. The wings give excellent support for the entire piece. Also it gives a great work sufrace for coping trim too. I wouldn't lose the wings regardless of what stand I used.
  3. Not at all! Post it up. I love checking out different ideas! Its why we are here. ;-)
  4. Yep those are the holes I was thinking of. You can make a solid bracket to bolt onto those holes that you can use as a wing attachment. I know it's another Kapex but you could modify this design and adapt it to the Bosch. https://youtu.be/KYKcIu5Qd8M
  5. Attaching to your Bosch should be easy. Doesn't that model have threaded holes on each side of the base?
  6. The Multiblades adapter. http://multiblades.com/kapexsawhelperbracket.html
  7. Thanks!! I did do a lot of research, looking, and thinking on this setup. It isn't perfect, but I really think it is close for my needs.
  8. One more picture showing the entire setup. It is multiple pieces to bring along to the job, but it is solid. I like the wood wings over aluminum for some reason. I looked at the UG wings and the BestFence from FastCap and decided on this direction. I have been very happy with it.
  9. Here is my setup. ChrisK1970 wanted to see it. I use a Keter work table, Multiblades adapter, Kreg fence, and custom made wings. Also made a custom crown jig for it. I made the jig so I can store it under the wings so I always have it.
  10. Custom made by yours trully. Multiblades Kapex adapter with t-track. Kreg fence system, and wood wings by me.
  11. Yeah it isn't real big. Very portable. I need to get the custom filters made for it. The replacement ones aren't real locally.
  12. I have seen something similar before here is the US. Never tried them. Those could be really useful to keep in the van. Will they be sold under the Powers brand or Dewalt?
  13. Sweet nailer Chris!! I keep looking at those so I can ditch my gas ones.
  14. Here is ours on our current project. It is on the floor behind the miter saw.
  15. The M12 line is growing way faster than the competition right now. I really hope Bosch steps up their 12v line this year! Congrats on the new tools!
  16. Here ya go. Yes I will be doing some sort of video of it in use. I don't have a similar tool to do a comparison but maybe I can do some misc. test with it.
  17. For a smaller lawn these tools would be perfect! Very cool tech we have coming out now! Battery tools are making huge strides. Stihl is coming out with a battery powered cutoff saw as well!
  18. We definitely were lucky to get this space. We knew the realtor that listed it...he called us the day it went on the market. I think we put in an offer that same day! It is in a small commercial/industrial park in my town.
  19. Some new demo chisels....to go with my new SDS Max rotary hammer drill!
  20. Definitely better than nothing at all. We were going to make a big fan into an air filter by making a box that accepts stock filters. We eneded up with this re-branded unit because it was a little more cost but had the multiple speeds and the timer.
  21. Thanks guys!! It was fun to put together! I would love to see how the new Dewalt brushless sds compares.
  22. We have this unit under a different brand and that is how we use. We run it all day when on site and set the timer to run for a few more hours after we leave. It does help and our clients do notice and appreciate the effort. Every little bit of dust containment/control helps when working on a project in a lived in home.
  23. Spike's Framework is cool but has a lot more BS tv drama in it. Still a great bunch of designs and some great craftsmen on the show. Those are on Spikes website I believe. The season finale is tomorrow night.
