I like Menards over the other two...but that said it's like a revolving door for what they choose to stock. That and they don't ever order re-stock until they are out...wtf!
I really like them! I have been using the framer for quite a few years and I got the smooth face soon after for siding and exterior trim work. I would buy them again for sure. Balanced nice and a great price. I wanted to do the titanium thing but if I wanna beat on some concrete here and there I don't want to worry about my $200 hammer exploding.
We use the Dewalt Tough boxes in our van. Some of youmay have seen the pics I out up here. Well my partner and I each have a large as our primary tool box. Here is what I keep in mine. The photos are a little old as I have the Bosch 18v socket ready impact and charger in there now instead of the Dewalt. Also the tool belt hangs up in the van. It wouldn't fit in the box.
I would imagine as brushless tech keeps growing you will see it more and more and it won't be such a distinguishing difference in tools. We will have to go back to specs as more a deciding factor vs brushless vs non-brushed.
I know!! I think it would be perfect for the amount of drywall I do. Bath's, kitchens, maybe a small basement. Small enough to fit in my tool belt. As soon as I can find it online I think I am ordering one!
This has been a NAINA item for awhile and still is. But it is getting closer to us! This went live on the UK Bosch site. http://www.bosch-professional.com/gb/en/gsr-10-8-v-ec-te-35816-ocs-p/ I think this would be awesome for smaller drywall projects. It also works the the same collated adapter as the other Bosch screwguns. It also comes with the new 2.5 amp batteries as a bump in power.
I am lucky, the UPS center is just a block from my shop. I know the morning manager. I just call in and tell them to hold my package for me and I can snag it after 8 am. Also the driver knows our code so he will leave packages in our shop too.
