  1. I picked up one of these as well, for $75 I couldn't pass it up I will use this while updating my 2nd floor.
  2. I might be interested in the drywall gun depending on shipping and of course if it's still available or not
  3. I don't disagree, but at least you can use them on the 20V tools so it's not a completely new platform, but yes 60V tools will be a new platform....It's nice to see some bigger badder tools but at the expense of convenience. But honestly think this would make someone look at Milwaukee/Makita a little harder when deciding on a platform
  4. Yea, which these 60V tools would be compatible with a 20V battery in some capacity even if the power was a little less, but if you have a 20V line up you'll have several of those batteries and if you have one 60V tool, i.e. circular saw in my case, you'll have several 20V batteries and 1-2 60V batteries, but hey 20V tools can last nearly all day on one battery maybe the 60V will be just as good if not better but a circular saw usually chews through batteries....I'll wait for some video proof. But if I was going to need to invest into another line up I might just go to another brand......using 60V batteries on a 20V tool is nice.
  5. These are exciting tools, but I wish they expand the 20V line would like to see a 20v 7 1/4 Brushless circular saw, but I do like the 60v/20v idea this way you don't have a special 60v battery pack that can only be used on that specific tool like the old 24V and 36V dewalt stuff, still have a 24v Circular saw but no batteries. About time someone made an AC adapter for these cordless tools, this is great for the DIYer that like the cordless aspect but the tool doesn't become useless if the batteries die or get discontinued.
  6. I just saw this in my mail I was like oh cool look! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Josh I agree shark bites are the great, but call me old fashion but I like sweated pipes and threads shark bites just freak me out but I've used them and they seem to hold so far. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I can understand why they did this but it's not like there prices are already 5% cheaper, plus the 5% was suppose to only be for HD CC holders well that's at least what I was time when I opened mine up I think they'll loose a lot of sales this way as now I can get said tool at Lowe's for 5% off except Milwaukee stuff Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. So I was in Home Depot this morning picking up my Milwaukee tool chest and of course I could leave without purchasing some more stuff. When I was checking out I asked them to match the 5% lowes discount and to my surprise they said we don't do that anymore.....so I asked what do they match and they said they no longer match lowes not even the movers coupon.....why would HD do this? They aren't always cheaper than lowes most things are the same price. I feel like they might be shooting themselves in the foot. Is anyone else seeing this in there areas? Home Depot

$95 for a M12 Fuel Hammer drill, I already have one and at that price I'd pick up another one! that is a nice little drill with plenty of power!!!
  11. RC I agree, if you are uncomfortable with the idea of sweating pipes, plumbing and can afford to pay a plumber just pay the guy for a piece of mind. Also since your dealing with gas I would also highly recommend hiring a guy if you has some doubts of your ability as you don't want no leaks.
  12. I think I might be seeing more red in my future!!!! Man I have been waiting all morning to see this post! I like it, it looks really compact compared to the Dewalt, can't wait for a tool fight. They also have a cordless mitersaw coming down the river too.
  13. I am not expert but I did sleep in my bed last night so here is my 2 cents If you have clean town water then Tankless would be a great option if you have well water that has sediment or see staining around faucets I'd stay away from the Tankless or I'd recommend remedying the water issue with some filters. I would replace this myself but with that said it's a little more complex than a standard Hot water tank If you want a straight swap with another tank I would DIY it, I just replaced my propane tank with a Hybrid Electric, I wanted to get rid of the vent as it took up space in the basement, so my original options were either a direct vent (would need to cut new holes in my freshly sided house) or convert to electric and not worry about venting, end of the day went hybrid electric for 2 reasons, one electric company gave me a $500 rebate and the Energy "cost" was half that of the propane so figured it was a win win. Replacing if you can do some basic plumbing (worst case) and a little wrenching this would be a quick straight forward swap with the proper hoses and fittings
  14. Cute and tools don't really mix well I am an equal opportunity Tool user, except Craftsman, there power tools have let me down in the past. I just can't get the ratio right to make it fit, oh well.
  15. Well I have been a blank shadow for to long, I finally have to give myself an image good? bad? or you can't see it?

    2016 Dewalt

I thought 2015 was suppose to be the year for Dewalt? I'd like to see a 7 1/4 brushless circular saw, a 20V compressor would be cool would turn all my pneumatic nailers to cordless, right angle impact, and more powerful brushless tools. Is it bad that I've given up on there 12v and moved to the M12? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. All I picked up on was a 10in cordless miter from Dewalt, is there any merit to this statement? I was thinking of picking up the 7 1/4 but would hold out for the 10 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. I have some old tho I 18v maybe I'll rejuvenate them with some 4ah lithium, will my old charger charge them or they take a special charger? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Ahh thanks for the explaination! So buy it then goto Customer service and return it? lol
  21. Where is this promo? or how do you see it? I just put on in my cart and it still shows $399, I'd pick one of these up for $250.
  22. I have a feeling the last time this was a DOTD it was cheaper not sure.
