  1. So I forget where I read/heard this but is it true? Is Dewalt completely converting to the 20V/60V and no longer producing the smaller single voltage pack in anything above 5ah?
  2. All this talk about lunch boxes is making me hungry....... but honestly if they were in the Home Depot holiday tool isle I'd buy one....
  3. I would like to know this too, but I believe it's all online, my stick lights hook broke I'd like to get it fixed but the light still works and I might have separation anxiety
  4. Maybe Milwaukee will make a Brushless M18 powered Big Red?! lol
  5. Is Dewalt giving us a subtle hint? Has the 12V line even expanded in the last few years?
  6. Well that's just crappy, hopefully it's a fluke and is not a common issue.
  7. I got one of those, but I agree with everyone I like my cordless convenience and keyless chucks

I just bought these, but this time of year they usually have multiple holiday specials, I got their first gen 25ft and 16ft ones a few years ago. I really should stay away from HD during the holidays lol
  9. lol it took me a second too at first @CATERPILLAR then I was like Ooooh
  10. I haven't found a use for that for me yet, tried to use it to annoy the cat but just seemed to be annoyed I was looking at it. What are some good uses for the red light? I do wish there were ways to turn the light on and off at a certain level instead of cycling through them.
  11. Any just like that temptation is back.......
  12. I have all those as well and for me each have a different use, I love the Dewalt spot light when I am searching for things that are far away, i.e. seeing if I closed my chicken coop Lantern has been great when I take trips or needed some area lights. I do want that new M12 metal light but i think it's a little steep at the moment, should have bought it when I saw it got $79 dollars when i was away for ~$100 I think it might be a little steep at the moment, but I do like it.
  13. Congrats Chris!!, now you'll have a nice little helper. Couldn't convince the wife to name him "Fes" [emoji39] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. I bought a Klein "starter" kit from HD and I love all the tools in it except I like my Milwaukee strippers better. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Lol, I own 2 of these and love them, my favorite light so far is my M12 stick light, it's so compact it's great! But like the setting of the 050 better, the hook and the hinge could use improvement on the dewalt, I wish it was more like the Milwaukee that locks into place. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. 20V Dewalt, I'm not worthy Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Yea that could definitely a contender as it solve one of my biggest complaints of having a Single battery for one tool, but would have to convert my current arsenal to Blue, but it solves that gap of Higher voltage/power without new battery platform.
  18. Congrats, and thanks for removing the temptation
  19. Yes I know Amazon is doing it and it's temping me to buy more tools......it never ends.......... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HIAWWBY/ref=s9_acsd_bw_wf_a_Grohewat_cdl_5?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_r=64HY8PNCP76ES0CMCVGC&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=c6608912-2990-4fb6-b3a4-8dc70f987349&pf_rd_i=14773192011
  20. Following, I like this Idea, I myself love those hard cases, I use them when I'm transporting my tools to make sure they don't get bashed around (I know I know they are tools and suppose to get bashed around) but I it's more of a love hate relationship as I like the case but to store your tools in them takes up so much room, so they end up empty in a corner somewhere to be forgotten about until the day I'll need one and can't find them.

Man am I the only one that love HD around the Holiday's? The rows and rows of tool deals, I am like a kid in a candy store, I just keep putting things in my cart regardless if I need them....... I should spend some more time on the Penny Stocks though, I have seen some amazing deals of what people got I just need to get my hands on some.....
  22. Ummm that's saw is one I am thinking about.......Christmas gift for others or Christmas gift for me!!!!! what to do what to do.......
  23. Good thing I have access to a 3D printer!
  24. You will not be disappointed! and I agree starting out at 18V is the way to go and Team red have a very large lineup for you to tackle anything you mentioned above. You will eventually want to get some M12's for the more delicate stuff as this is exactly what I did but I only did Fuel stuff for the extra power. Have yet to regret my decision.
  25. I'll agree with previous comments, if you are looking for cabinet building I'd increase your budget, but with that said, When I was looking to buy, I picked the 7491rs as it had the largest capacity and the portability is great. If I had to I bet I could build cabinets if need be, end of the day I would love to have a full woodshop with a cabinet saw but I don't have the room, so I've been all about portability and storage, being able to store this vertical has been great, so much so I bought the rolling stand for my 780. I will say that this saw hasn't disappointed me, I have needed to do several rip cuts on 2x4's and such and it's been super smooth and the fence stays in place and easy to use. The only issue I had with mine was I had to tighten the fence lock and it moved on me one, but since tightening it no movement. When setup it's very stable and I don't need to find a bench to attach it to or using it 2ft off the ground. The collection system is actually fantastic, I hooked up my shopvac in my basement and had zero clean up after using it. I am not sure of the other saws but I like the on/off switch on the 7491rs as it's a semi smart switch and the paddle off is nice no hunting for the button. Overall I feel this is accurate enough for what I need and would not hesitate to build furniture with it, but knowing a saws limitation and faults are key, get the saw that fits into your needs the best as I don't think you can go wrong with any of your choices. just an FYI I am no expert and haven't done any finishing work with this but have plans for some small things as I even bought the dado kit for it.
