  1. Didn't Milwaukee announce a new model with a wireless monitor that came off of the base and a prehensile camera tip on the the end of the cable for looking around? I thought I remembered that from the Milwaukee event last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. correct I fired it up last night and with my shop vac attached and there was virtually no mess at all. Quite a difference from the flying wood chip storm that I've seen with another planer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. A thing can be full of win. It can be full of fail. This thread has awesomeness in such abundance that it runneth overeth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Very odd. I wonder why you'd have to pay Import fees from one place and not from another. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. This thread is full of win. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Other place? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. For those that are into the Ryobi 18v line up, I present the SureBonder 18v glue gun! No need to wait for Black & Decker to release their cordless glue gun and don't even need a new battery platform because it runs on Ryobi batteries. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. TTI's budget line is Ryobi. Next up is Ridgid and on top of the price heap is Milwaukee. You probably ought not to expect that the new Milwaukee Fuel nailers would be cheap. Milwaukee prices all of their tools higher than a lot of the competition because they knew that people will pay for them, simple as that. Are they worth the price? That's a personal decision between you and your tool budget, but it's the same conversation whether your buying Festool green, Dewalt yellow or Woodpecker "shiny OMG I just have to have a $200 square" anodized red. 9. I was in the depot today checking out some light switches when I saw that the Milwaukee organizers went up in price and are now $25. The home depot app confirms that it wasn't just my store. I thought the "new, lower price" was permanent, but I guess not. Not that it's a huge deal, but I should have stocked up last week when they were still cheaper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The log box is cool but honestly, with the red cloth in it "wearing" the ring, it looks like a severed finger that you get with a random note. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I just got around to checking this site out- good deals to be had on a lot of things. I've got a question for anyone that's ordered from them. I see that they calculate shipping to the US. Is that the actual price that you pay in CAD? Are there any hidden gotchas such as import taxes that you find out about when you go to take delivery? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. If remember correctly it was near Fishtown. My father lives in Philly and I visited it a whole ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I've already got my order in. I'm a sucker for woodpecker's stuff. It's crazy expensive but really really high quality. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I picked one up two years ago in a BF sale for $50 for the kit. I don't use a ton, but what I have used it for (cutting off bolts, drywall cutting, notching trim, and light sanding to remove rust) it did a great job. It's compatible with all of the Dremel attachments I've bought and more powerful than some of the other cordless dremels I've used in the past. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I've got the Dewalt 20v OMT. Sometimes I feel it's underpowered cutting hard woods. Would a corded Bosch be a significant upgrade or should I just but better blades? Other than vibration and blade changing mechanisms, I'm honestly not sure what the big differentiators are with OMTs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. If you're looking at a 12", you might as well spend the extra $100 and get a slider. I'm in the go big or go compact camp - nothing in between. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. If those had a spot to strip the outer sheath from Romex, they'd be just about perfect.
  18. I heat my house with a wood stove. Stacking wood in the summer and carrying it in all winter is hard on work gloves and they rarely last a full year. I was in the depot the other day and saw these, so I figure I'd give them a shot to see how they hold up to several tons of firewood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. B&C Eagle offset round head from Amazon. There are lots of options for length and shank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Damn - that's a smoking deal you got there BM. As far as the nails that it takes, you can buy them anywhere. The thing to remember is, even though the magazine is a 33 degree, it will take 30 degree nails. I actually wasn't able to find 33s at my depot, so I ordered a box from Amazon before I figured out the compatibility with 30s. The other problem with depot is that they only sell framing nails in giant boxes for framing out a house. If you want smaller quantity, say 500 or 1000 instead of committing to 5000, you have to shop Lowes or online. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yes indeed. I have to say they are the smoothest locking pliers I've ever used. When I first go them, I was a bit suspicious because they were so small, but they work very well.
  22. Perhaps a bit of lubrication would help ease things along? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Bit driver priapism. Ouch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. It was my very first M12 and its tied for my favorite tool. It's got the cojones to sink pocket screws in oak but still clutch out so I don't overdrive the fastener. I use it all the time for anything that has a pre-drilled hole. Don't get me wrong, the impact is awesome, but sometimes it's a bit too easy to overdrive a fastener, especially in soft wood or on pre-made stuff I have to put together.
