Bob, any chance of you renting a Evolution saw near you? They are cold cut saws for metal. (Very little sparking) I have the Evolution chop saw and it cuts through everything metal, no-hub, kindorf, angle iron, cast, etc. Not sure if they make grinders? Google Evolution saws and check out their website. Maybe this is a good opportunity to buy a new tool? Lol

Throw a heavy drop cloth in the tub before you have at it with a sledge. When cast shatters it goes everywhere, be sure to wear eye protection... Post some pics when you get the chance man,,,,

I'm thinking the same as you Joe, would love to pick up a Makita 36v blower (I have the batteries) or do I jump on the Ego bandwagon? Joe, I believe the EGO tools with the battery & charger are still cheaper then the Makita 36V bare tool? That could be a deciding factor?
