Amen Poison.... My Dad is a Machine,,,, hard to keep up with him.. He is totally Old School,,, still uses his block planes, and his Yankee Screwdriver... Here are some pics of the flooring before the repair.. The old timers framed the partitions in these houses first on top of the sub flooring then installed the 3/4" oak flooring...

Yes he is Poison, Carpenter by trade, he will be 79 next month...

Finished up the oak flooring repairs with my Dad today... Will sand and finish after the sheet rocking is complete

In. Last pic showing the entrance, I installed a gfci outlet with a exterior box, rewired the outside light (will install a motion style when I find one I like) and also running new bell wire as well... I gotta treat myself to a new tool after my wife gets another large closet,,,, lol

Thanks Comp, I have a lot of metal boxes, fittings and 12/2 w/a ground bx left over, wanted to use it up. yes the house still,has the original bx throughout the house, trying to replace it as I go along

Started my electrical rough in yesterday, got a lot more done today. Have to finish up with stapling some door bell wire and box and mounting the high hat for the closet. Then insulate, repair oak flooring and Sheetrock..
