  1. There's no such thing as Dodge Ram anymore, just so you know.
  2. I pay absolutely no mind to where things are manufactured, as mentioned above it's way too late for that. There's so much smoke and mirrors even half of the crap out there "made in america" (aka M.I.A, as in missing in action) was made somewhere else and assembled here anyhow. Take my Harley for instance. What's more american than a HD? Well...most things, probably. Even my motor was developed by Porsche...almost all the bolts I've ever touched on it are metric. However that said, I'm brand loyal. When I have good experiences with a brand they get my money, what do I care if it goes from one billion dollar company to another. My 3K a year tool expenditure is hardly going to make a difference while this country slowly turns to crap over horrible policy pumped out by decades of junk elected officials. As for quality, I've had plenty of crap American tools too, not really interested in wasting my money here, there, or anywhere for that matter.
  3. My work truck is a 07' RAM with the 3.7L, the least common of all the engines. It's a bit of a dog, really wish I went with the 5.7L but it gets the job done, 130,000 nearly completely trouble free miles with towing half of them. I think I've put $600 into it that weren't tires or regular maintenance (brakes, shocks, and a replaced cracked water pump.) I'm hoping to get another year or two out of the old girl before I move on to a new one before the whole thing comes unglued on me. I'm looking at the EcoDiesel.
  4. Actually that has nothing to do with it. http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/3074/why-arent-two-by-fours-two-inches-by-four-inches
  5. One other thing I forgot about is that it would be nice if it was both corded and cordless, the option to interchange would be invaluable for a mobile operation like I run where some days a few cuts is all I need and others I'm set up for a week in the same location. I know this doesn't seem to look that way but I don't know why more tools don't come with an option to do both these days.

    What is it??

Ah that explains it, it's a foreign invention. I use a Gator Grip to turn such items.

    What is it??

Well the bottom portion of the T could be for leverage only. Looks to me to be a fit for two sizes of the same fitting. Pretty certain whatever it is it's for some kind of pluming, like a water key.

    What is it??

You'd likely find that description on urban dictionary instead. lmao.

    What is it??

Only thing really intriguing about it is the RPM rating. Outside of electric motors...it's just totally WTF.
  10. Can you even narrow it down or are you forbidden to do that too? 6mo? Year?

    What is it??

It's a T tool drive attachment but some quick research only turned up some Ebay hits for this "Mystery Tool". There's no literature I can find to describe it or it's purpose.
  12. Just reading the model number off the page. Matches the 3.0ah battery. DCB200. "The DEWALT DCS361M1 Miter Saw allows you to take a Miter Saw just about anywhere you can go. No need to lug around generators or extension cords with this DEWALT cordless miter saw. Includes DCB200 20-Volt MAX Battery, DCB112 12-Volt - 20-Volt MAX Charger, carbide blade, user’s guide, blade wrench and material clamp."
  13. The one I saw was like 4 months I think, but yea a long time coming... For $400 the only thing else I'd ask for is a standard 5ah battery. Taking what is surely one of the most if not the most demanding tool in the lineup and giving it a 3ah is kind of silly IMO. Even the $200 blower is coming with a 5ah...
  14. FINALLY. And that thing looks SWEET. Saves pictures for posterity. XPS. Positive stops. Built in handles that actually look functional (looking at you DWS780). Only thing it doesn't do is dual bevel.
  15. I'm really starting to consider going outside of the Dewalt family in order to get the specific tools that I need. Ryobi is topping my #2 contender list...and I never ever would have thought I'd be saying that a few years ago.
  16. That's a shame, I was looking forward to the change to Vb. I'd like to see a few new themes to choose from. The appearance of the forum layout is a bit lacking. Fixing the images issue as you mentioned will be great too, I've had a fair amount of issues trying to upload here.
  17. THIS! Only two things I NEEEEED, and it's taking forever. Makita has had theirs since 2011. I don't care how much engineering goes into a tool, there is absolutely no explanation or reason for being at least 4 YEARS behind the competition. That list could be 10 times as long but if they're being outperformed by the competition, it's irrelevant. That's my opinion anyway.
  18. Dewalt has been in the catch-up game for some time now. They're no longer producing class leading products in hardly any category. Take the impact for instance...if a competitor makes a 750ft.lbs impact and you want to compete, don't product a product a year later that's 700ft.lbs. That's the kind of thing that drives me crazy. Pump it up and drive the market for a change.
  19. Now THAT is a useful feature I'd want to get behind! I'd love to be reminded before I get to a job that I forgot to charge my batteries.
  20. Slightly disappointed that it's not market leading (but what that Dewalt has produced in recent memory has?) but I'll be buying none the less, still need a powerful impact and that is a lot of power.
  21. Thanks for the link, looks fascinating to say the least. Look forward to reviews and pricing.
  22. Soon I'm going to start my new project which is a kids table and chair set for some dear friends of mine. Anyone have ideas on simplistic chair designs for kids that's crafty enough to leave inside a home?
  23. Thanks Mikey! No not for cutting boards, just coffee tables. I seal everything over with polyurethane heavy too.
