  1. Funny this came up. I just bought a Wilton 1745 (4-1/2"). It was 445 at my local industrial supply. Got it mounted up today. I had been needing one and wanted one to last a lifetime. I was gonna get the mechanics style but wanted to stick to USA made.
  2. This made me laugh. Thanks for sharing.
  3. That press looks awesome. I just watched the video on it. And I agree it has a touch of a modern look to it. I'm jealous.
  4. Like the rest of the guys it would be nice to have a full set of quality ratcheting wrenches some day. Nice find
  5. Well maybe I need to get out more cause I have not seen them haha. I did do a little research and it looks like they have been around since 2011. That is interesting about the outdoor power equipment. That would be a easy if they let you turn it in under warranty at the store.
  6. Has anyone seen the kobalt power tool line up? I was just flipping through the lowes add and came across it. I never knew they had cordless tools. There is a 18v kit, 20v kit, and even some 40v and 80v outdoor equipment. I'm not in the market for another cordless set but just found it interesting. Really just wondering if they are a rebranded tool or something. It does say they have a 5 year tool guarantee. Anyway what do you guys think? http://www.lowes.com/Tools/Power-Tools/Kobalt-Power-Tool-Combo-Kits/_/N-1z0wclzZ1z140vv/pl#!
  7. Very neat idea. Cheap and functional.
  8. I have seen those and I would find it hand also. But I also like the hammer head screw driver the guys did a review for on. Maybe I just need one of each.
  9. I will have the say flashlights and electrical tape. Both are always near by and have plenty of them.
  10. I have one of there pry bar sets and have no complaints on them. The grip is good and I like the metal cap on the end. I have there twisted hex key on my wish list but haven't spent the money yet. It should be a good buy for you.
  11. Yes I was very impressed with how it was handled. I have managed to keep all of the sockets after all this years. The only thing I'm missing is some of the bits which isn't to big deal for me as most are there. Channellock is still a good brand in my opinion. I have there screw driver set with the metal end cap on them. Also I think I read on here that irega makes channellock adjustable wrenches is that correct?
  12. Hey guys just wanted to share my experience with channellock. I got a 176pc toolset for Christmas about 9 years ago. I keep it in my truck and it is my go to set to grab if I'm out and about. A couple years after I got it I used the 3/8 ratchet for something it was not designed to do. A hammer would of been the tool of choice. Anyway it messed up the socket release mechanism. Well I just dealt with it and every now and then would look for another ratchet but they are not available individually. Well I finally called channellock to see where to get one and they told me to send it in and it would be covered under warranty. I had to send it to allied industrial who makes the set for them. So sent it in on 9/11 and got a new one in the mail this past Saturday. So pretty happy to have my set all together again. So enough of the yaking here are the pics.
  13. Im curious too. That thing is cool. That and there new hex impact driver is on my list.
  14. Good way to organize your tools. As long as you know where they are is all that matters.
  15. Wow that is different than any thing I have seen. Neat idea.
  16. So that's where all the craftsmen trade-in ratchets go to. Pretty neat.
  17. There is so many brands of lights out there these days. I have not heard of that particular one.
  18. I hope the tools I buy now last me that long. And yes a whole set would be nice. I have a small 3 drawer tool box with the ford logo i got 10 years ago. Wish I would of taken a little better care of it.
  19. This is the type I see the most. http://www.amazon.com/Prevost-PVOIRC061201-Regular-Coupler-Style/dp/B0006BK3CI They hold up good in all weather situations.
  20. Jealous of your light collection. I spent to much money on lights haha. I was at a store when I was on vacation a couple weeks ago and they were a dealer for surefire lights. They are expensive but are very nice. I started looking into them ant there is a wide variety to choose from. They have hand held lights and gun mounted. Even a have a flashlight watch! They also have a life time warranty. I love haveing a flashlight handy. This is what I use at work. It's a cheap led but gets the job done. Then we have Pelican lights that are pretty tough. Its not led but still has a decent light when new.
  21. Yeah I don't think I got hurt on them.
  22. Looks like the wrenches come with a nice case. That would be handy. Nice score.
  23. I think I only paid 10 for both of them. And that's what I have read too, that the older tractors came with a set. That is cool you still have the set that came with your tractor. The dealership definitely wouldn't do that now. They rather you bring the vehicle to them so they make more money.
