  1. For guys who want the new gen 2 fuel, get 2 free 5ah batteries with the kit http://www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/milwaukee-deals
  2. I'm on my 3rd kit now. Had really bad wobble with the first drill, had a weird grinding/vibrating/knocking issue with the 2nd kit with both the drill and impact, and now on to my 3rd kit I drilled 4 holes with my drill and it went unresponsive just like yours. and it wobbles...
  3. Surprisingly this new Milwaukee kicks back less that my dcd995 did, it seemed like I had to fight that thing everyday. I wouldn't say the Milwaukee is sensitive by any means but maybe more accurately programmed? Either way I can drill an 18" auger bit thru a 16" maple log in high speed so I'm happy!
  4. Thanks got a new one on the way, should be here tomorrow so we'll see how it is
  5. That new small dewalt radio is convenient but one of the worst I've used and reception was terrible. The Milwaukee charger/radio is a little pricey but you will feel like ur in a night club, great sound and well worth it!
  6. On the drill. I think it's to be expected on impacts but I will say this impact has less play in it compared to my dewalt
  7. They have it online so it's gotta show up one of these days
  8. Yea they both are actually pretty small but it adds to the surprise when u pull the trigger and see how much power they have! On week 2 now with mine and these guys are still impressing me... But... One thing I did notice is wobble in my chuck. I'm not concerned with it right now as my bits still seem to run straight enough for use but it's enough to catch your eye and notice it. Never had that with my other drills tho
  9. I've been using it for a week now and I believe the 1200in lbs to be true! I've never been so impressed with a drill before! I've been running all dewalt 20v for the last 3 years and after being disappointed with 2 995's I picked up this new drill
  10. The 995 is great and can handle 3/4" holes all day. I liked how it's 2nd gear could handle stuff that you would have to use 1st gear on other drills. But with that said, I returned 2 995's in a month and have moved on to the new gen2 hammer drill. I can now drill those same 3/4" holes faster and in high speed. I think the 995 was a noticeable step up from my 985 despite loosing some features but this new Milwaukee drill blows them both away.
