I have a handful of dewalt blades the older ones with more rubber over molding on it, very comfortable the front drops on a slight angle and blade change is simple.

Nice setup! I also use my Ego blower to clean up the garage. Blow the remaining saw dust out of the garage and let nature take it's course.
I typically spill large amounts of sawdust and chips on the floor, I have my RIDGID vac under my bench and enough hose to reach the whole shop. What doesn’t gets vacuumed? EGO baby!

Looks nice man! I don’t miss having not my own garage now I have my own domain although the wife tells me the cars need to fit in winter time [emoji849] so I try to stay modular as well. Nice work man!

Not to be too obvious but... have you thought about contacting a service center? [emoji33]
If you just bought it, though, it will probably be easier to bring it back and get it exchanged for another one.
Took the words out of my mouth...

I’d say if your not grinding hard all the time and your in the 20v line it’s a good option. But for more serious grinding the flex is probably a better solution...I just hear the runtime on the flex at full power is not too long , and the 20v gets a lot done for me with a 5ah.....hope it helps ..best of luck let’s know what you get and how it works
Runtime straight grinding on the flex I was told for a 6" disc is around 6 minutes
When I tested the Metabo 6" with the 7.0 I ran about 10 minutes, when i dropped disc size to 4 1/2" it was around 13 minutes
So I would assume with a 4 1/2" disc you could run around 8-9 minutes... I may be purchasing a flex grinder to test this

I actually like the slower rpm of the screw driver for more prescision work, the m12 fuel impact or the brushed drill I’ll use for more rpm but odds are I’m grabbing an m18 impact for bigger stuff anywho

I have the Fuel hammer drill, no screw gun. Jimbo has the Fuel screw gun.
No just have the brushed version, fuel is too damn big

For me a fuel grinder with a 5.0 was good enough to no longer carry a corded but it wasn't truly a corded replacement it was just good enough to compromise some power. Now the dewalt 60v I would say is truly a corded replacement when it comes to power but it has size and weight to go with it. Run time of the fuel with a 5.0 and the 60v with a 6.0/2.0 are very similar. I have a 3.0/9.0 flexvolt but ive never put it on my 60v grinder and I haven't done any real grinding with the fuel and 9.0 to compare thier runtimes. I've been told the best power runtime and ergonomics is the metabo but I still like to think I control my addiction so I don't own one yet.
Metabo is a beast

Brushless Belt Sander!
in Ridgid
Posted
I have the RIDGID branded one the dust bag is actually very good, the sander does an awesome job of collecting it’s own dust, I don’t generally use it with a vac.
I love the belt sander it’s a 3x18 belt, really to take advantage of it I recommend the 5.0 battery if you guys have them
