or 649... When was this 399?
The price doesn’t show online only in store, should still be valid if any are left

Milwaukee SCMS M18 with additional 60 tooth blade for $499 and free shipping. Looks to be a decent deal, I have been in the market for a cordless miter, not buying one yet but the Milwaukee still looks like a decent mitersaw. Add the tool to your bag and type “blade” in the coupon code.

Go for the Makita at the Depot, get 4 batteries and the Saw for 399

I believe several people here have sold items with Lithium Ion batteries and I'm curious on how you shipped them. I'm selling my Makita tools because I don't really need the sander and I'd rather have the M12 Gen 2 impact driver over the XDT11. I've read the USPS guidelines but I'm wondering if you identified on the packaging that it included batteries and if you ran into any trouble with USPS not wanting to send them via Flat Rate boxes when doing so. Google is giving me mixed results, some say they shipped it fine, others say they had issues with them wanting to send it ground only.
Each post office is different, I have shipped flat rate with batteries they just mark it for ground use, but I’ve had a post office refuse as well, DM me what your thinking about selling Makita wise I’m looking to expand that line up or I have some Milwaukee Tools I’m looking to thin out if you’d want to trade

The battery looks like Chervon but the tools don't look like the Ego stuff. I swear I've seen a blower like that before but I can't recall right now.

Blower is set up like the RIDGID blower, maybe even the harbor freight Lynx blower

$69 at my three closest stores. The $18 one posted on GJ is 40 mins from me, not worth the drive...I don't need one that bad.
Ran into, was $69 at my store I'll keep a close eye on it. I did however find a Brushless XR Recip Dewalt Compact saw on clearance for $40, was labeled Used - drywall use and needs repair, picked it up just dirty but seemed to run fine, also a bosch 12v magnet light for $30 looked like a floor model.

The Porter Cable Restorer is on deep discounts at some Lowe's, it seems you'll have to go to see the price. I've seen as low as $18, retail is $100!
I’d like to get my hands on one been in “clearance” at my Lowe’s for 89 for 6 months lol

To all my friends and fellow crew members, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, if this isn't your thing than happy holidays and if that doesn't cover it...
I know I have been MIA as of late I have recently taken a promotion at work and the holiday season is our biggest time of the year. I have been absent in all my platforms but my content and input will be returning (like it or not) lol.
I have some cool projects lined up for the next few months!
Oh and by the way, did I mention I am going to be a DAD???

I haven't tried recon tools before but I am looking into Festool Recon. Each recon tool has been certified by Festool to be in working condition. Places like CPO has recon but not sure how good they are. @Wesley S. recon might be a good option to upgrade from a diy brand to a pro brand.
I bought a disc sander from Dewalt CPO that works like a champ, got a steal on it too as for Festool Recon I bought the DTS 400 and you wouldn't even know its a recon

Noticed they were on clearance at HD. Not sure if that means a new one is coming or they are just moving them out of the store. They seem to do that.
Probably a different sku coming in, I believe the HD ones have the batteries so maybe they’re clearing out for baretool.

It's not noticeably heavier, bulkier, or slower.
Bosch: 5.3 lbs
Festool: 5.1lbs
Same sander shape
Bosch: 6.5 amps / 715 watts
Festool: 6.0 amps / 720 watts
Speed
Bosch: 270-600 rpm / 3100-6500 opm
Festool: 320-660 rpm / 3300-6800 opm
Bosch: 14 yr old design
Festool: nearly as old
The Bosch is $250 vs $600 for Festool.
Yes, the festival is better but the Bosch is 90%+ as good as the Festool. I did my research and read every post on the f o g forum.
I’ve heard good things about the Makita gear driven sander as well, I do have to say Festool dust collection is rather impressive, my Bosch (372devs) is pretty good but this is a whole new level

JimboS1ice how is the rotex? Does it seem to be hard to control/jump around? Mine seems that way.
It’s a taxable beast, wicked power in gear mode, if you don’t have a decent grip it’ll kick you. I run it with a RIDGID Shop vac and a dust deputy so that helps suck the sander to the surface. Are you using the side or auxiliary handle? You can try running Mirka Abranet paper instead it isn’t as aggressive as Granat is.

Veritas cabinet scraper, vise handle, and 4" dividers.
Also a set of Witte wood handle screwdrivers. Super cheap on Walmart.com (hate Walmart normally). For $22 shipped.BMack37

Here’s the plunge I finally took, did a little work with them today I don’t know how I did it without them!
