It would be pretty cool but I'm not sure if it would catch on because its tile saws are kind of a niche market.

Huge fan of the Dewalt 20v, very powerful and for closer situations and when you don't want to blind yourself it has a red LED, haven't used the Milwaukee.

Right now I have a cheap ryobi I picked up in a pinch, it's okay but the bevel lock is trash, my next jig will definitely be a Bosch. Not sure which grip style I'll get, more than likely the traditional d style.

That's not bad really. I may see what kind of gift cards I get for Christmas and try to grab one.

I'd like to get ahold of one of the Husky boxes. It would be nice to have one like Dan and Eric use to shoot their videos on. I could pull it out of the shop and have a mobile work bench.

They aren't too pricy I think I've seen it for either 199 or 299...

I have the slip-joint version and they work pretty well. I ordered the largest ones from Engineer over a month ago and I am still waiting for them to be delivered. I think it would be really cool if they came out with a vice grip type version of the pliers, seems like that would really be use full for tough screws.
Just ordered a pair of the slip joints I'll have them in a few days [emoji57]

Decided to make a golf tee triangle game for my fiancées birthday. So I figured I would spruce it up a little, as a kid I had a wood burner engraver, I think that's what it's called.
So I go to Home Depot this morning look around in any possible place I can think before asking for help. Finally in my stubborn frustration I ask somebody. He just kind of looked at me, younger guy maybe just out of high school. Didn't know what I was talking about, no help from my poor description either.
Finally he calls over someone else and they tell me they don't carry any? Really? It's Home Depot, so I go to menards and pick one up I got the variable temperature one just because.
So I did a little border and writing and it came out decent, I'll post some pictures after my varnish dries.
So my question is does anybody use these any more? Apparently it's a dying thing because I was looked at like a relic for bringing it up and I'm not even that old.
Once the stain got on the contrast was pretty cool with the stain although my techniques need some improvement. Looking forward though to playing with this!

Jim,
The pliers will worth the wait, trust me. I'm guessing the one you bought is made by Engineer ? Or at least a rebranded version ?
Yes it was engineer as Bmack referred me to, everyone has built these pliers up can't wait to get my hands on them.

My best tool for rusted screws is this one below:
http://www.engineer.jp/en/products/pz58e.html
I was a bit reluctant at first but then I've tried it at home and on rusted screws under a washing mashine it yup, it works like a charm. VERY impressed.
A bigger size would be this one:

You also have the Loctite Freeze and Release but I've never tried it so can't comment.

Funny you mentioned these, I discovered vampliers just recently, we have a thread going about these, just ordered a pair but they take so long to come in.

I love this set, can't wait to upgrade the impact though, not worried about the drill, the little of improvement and light won't make me upgrade. Nice it came with a tough case shows a little more caring for the customer than giving just bags.
