  1. Well blue board is more expensive than osb. But you can cut it and install it much faster than plywood. So the home owner payed more for the bad work than it would have been. And now its going to cost him again to get it fix right. Around here it just matters who you are. With what you can get by with. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
  2. Maybe corn grinder? Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
  3. A good place for blue board is when building walls in the basement against the block. And put it between each stud. If more than 2/3 of the wall is covered by dirt you don't need it. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
  4. And I put drywall screws between the studs. Because with gable trusses here the studs are on 2ft centers. I'm sure it's like that all around the whole house. Which blue board has a good r value but it shouldn't be used for sheathing a house. I've seen it on older houses from the 80's before. This house is not even 10 years old yet. 5. Yea there's studs. I put two 2in roofing nails in each stud to help from blowing off. But you don't drive the nails tight when installing vynal siding. So it can move with temperature changes. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
  6. We have been eating seafood too for the past few years. We have been get king crab legs sent to us from Alaska. A guy we built a house for sends them to us now. I guess he was really happy with his home and the way we treated him? They are huge man. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
  7. Just blue board. And no insulation behind the blue board either. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
  8. Yea no osb or ply wood. I would say that I will find a lot more. The couple wants me to build a 24×16 ft deck on the back. With 16×16 covered and screened in. And yes that is why the siding blew off. I put a bunch of screws in the pieces I put back. Maybe they will hold? It was all I could think of at the time. Do you guys have anything that would of been better? Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
  9. They look like a mean cutting blade. I could use some. Thanks for the info.
  10. This one is just a wood shed for the owner to put his fire wood in. Its going to have exposed rafters metal roof. And like shadow boxing on the sides.
  11. It was the first thing I've done with the pallets. It was kinda fun. And different. And I didn't have to cut anything but the 2×4s.
  12. Idk if you can see how big the gap is but I could fit my fist into the attic. And they didn't use osb either. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
  13. I posted this on another post. But maybe some of you guys missed it yesterday? And a pallet table for them to pot ther plants on. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
  14. True but I guess the snow I could still work some.
  15. And thanks jumbo for saying somthing about using the app
  16. Lol. Do they come together as a combo kit or something?
  17. I would have of liked to of seen that. What a scammer. I almost thought it was a joke and then I seen it was on the internet. Lol
  18. Thanks guys. I'll keep the pics coming. As soon as it quits raining again. We have had more rain this year, than I can ever remember. What about anyone else?
  19. I like it. I've been wanting to make some for our fellowship hall. I like the handle idea too.
  20. I forgot to take a pic of the joist and doubled 2×6 centered beam to support the weight of the wood. There is a doubled 2×6 I the center running the 4ft way. Then two short joists on each sides of the beam running the 8ft way. And ledger strips under each end of the joist. Rafters an metal roof and shadow boxing to come. 22. Here is a good pic of the roof and the pipes they run into the house. I think that I would have ran them through the basement wall instead. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
  23. Made these for a couple that wanted a "cheap shed" and work table to pot plants in. And to hide where the pipes to there new water stove run into the house. They were so pleased with the results and in turn makes what I do all the more worth it. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
