  1. Not sure I have a "worst tool", but here are some frustration points... M18 Jigsaw needs a light and doesn't track straight. Anytime I cut a straight line I have to twist the tool crooked to keep the blade pushing straight. Maybe the tool just actually needs some adjustment, not sure. Also, my rover light is one of my favs, but if it gets a little bit of dust (especially drywall dust), the adjustment mechanism clogs and you can't twist the light to point in different directions. Have to take it apart pretty often and clean it, then it works great, but pretty annoying. Dust collection on M18 miter.... absolutely worthless.
  2. I haven't personally, but there are some fun videos on YouTube. Search for Matthias makita frankendrill
  3. Packout for sure. Very creative, well thought out design. A little bummed all my current job site organizers wont integrate, but a good excuse to get something new.
  4. That radius light had 2 battery slots... very interesting. I beat it drains 1 battery, then auto-switches and drains 2nd battery. I'd also bet that it charges at least 1 of them. Then the bigger question... what else might get 2 batteries??
  5. Forget to update, but I got the saw back and it works great now. Didn't cost me anything and everything was covered under warranty.
  6. Lots of Milwaukee special deals on HD, today only. http://www.homedepot.com/SpecialBuy/SpecialBuyOfTheDay
  7. Putting in time off request for work now! Dan and Eric, keep Periscope running please so we can get a peek.
  8. It will be interesting to see. As much as was talked about at NPS16 on why Milwaukee didn't need a 2 battery platform, they would have to eat some crow to make that launch. That being said, I hope they do so they can offer some bigger draw tools (tablesaw, bigger OPE, etc).
  9. Yeah, I don't understand why they didn't push that promo thru all the packages or limit the number of singles you can buy. I just got 6 and the cashier was looking at me funny. I bet someone still buys the 4 pack assuming it's cheaper. I think that promo ends sometime this week.
  10. Single ticks are on sale at HD for $10 (regularly $30)
  11. I still think its a big miss that the kettle can't do wet pickup.
  12. I carried it around in my truck for over a week before I dropped it off at FedEx. But I finally got it mailed out Friday April 28th and I got an email stating it should be back tomorrow. A week and a half turn around is pretty good. No indication yet if they fixed anything on it, so guess I'll see tomorrow. I have work to be done waiting on it, so hopefully it's ready to work when it gets here.
  13. I knew this would happen too. I've already purchased the string trimmer and blower, but was waiting on the hedge trimmer. Now it's too late to try and return them and buy this new "kit/deal" to get the free item. Oh well, guess that's the price I'll pay for being impatient.
  14. Free Milwaukee hedge trimmer or blower with purchase of string trimmer or select other kits. Just search HomeDepot.com for bare tool model number. Also, can use the bare tool item number as promo code on AcmeTools.com for same deal.
  15. Yes I've tried several batteries including a 9.0 and they all do the same thing but will work fine on other tools.
  16. Here's a little video of what is happening... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiG_85gWxxE
  17. No, I think I got bare tool for $199 about a year ago at HD.
  18. My 2731-20 is not operating right. Trying to cut apart a really old dry deck (2x6's) and it only makes it thru 1-5 boards and stops. When I pull the trigger it either does nothing or it barely spins the blade and stops. I usually have to wait 2-5 min and it will work again, but only for another 1-5 boards. This thing shod eat thru this entire deck with no issue. I know the blade is not getting bogged down or pinched because I'm purposefully not pushing it hard. Only a year old so it will go back to Milwaukee under warranty.
  19. Check this out (not my listing; just found it on Craigslist today)... https://abilene.craigslist.org/for/6060017585.html
  20. Might just be something simple like trigger assembly. They replace that on my hackzall. If you can read the serial number, it has a date code in it and they can tell you if its still under warranty. It doesn't cost anything to send it in and have it looked at. I'd go online and fill out the warranty stuff, get your mailing label and send it to Milwaukee.
  21. Interesting. Haven't thought about whether it might require a battery to be hooked on. Anyone know if that's the case or will it still work without battery?
  22. I have 4 of them, 1 was bought on craigslist and was pretty beat up, but none have given me any issues. Also have 1 m12 only charger and 2 of the m18/m12 rapid chargers and they have never had issues. How old is the charger, could it be warrantied?
