  1. The m12 jacket I have does not allow the battery to go in any other pockets, just in the back. It could be modified to do so, but would be a bit of work.
  2. Yeah, it bugged me that was the only XC battery that didn't say what ah it was. I accidentally grabbed it one day thinking it was one of my 5.0's.
  3. It fits! Used some foam from an old car seat cushion. Still has room for a long bin to hold packages of brads and 1 small bin for whatever and just enough room to tuck in any xc (3.0, 4.0, or 5.0... maybe 6.0) battery. Don't need a battery this big, but I don't have an extra slim pack. When the box is stood up (carried) it holds it tight and the weight of the tool actually hangs from the bit of divider I left in there. Glad I didn't cut it all the way out.
  4. Excellent. Now if I could just get my sorry local HD to find the 9 it says they have in stock, I'd buy one! Good idea to use some foam.
  5. I recently got the m18 Brad nailer, but just got the bare tool and don't have a case/bag for it. Does anyone know if it would fit in the Milwaukee job site organizer if you removed all the bins and cut out the one divider??
  6. Just a simple 2x4 frame that sits on the braces of my sawhorses. My table saw has the same runners under it. Then, the tops of the table saw, miter saw, and sawhorses are all even. It's all crammed in the garage at the moment, but in this pic you can see the miter saw in place. There are 2 more sawhorses that hold the table saw hiding behind this.
  7. Package 2 of 4 arrived. Won't let me upload picture. Got M18 Brad nailer.
  8. So I was trying different cuts and am very excited about being able to cut 4x4 posts now. Then I tried different batteries. Cutting the 4x4, the 9.0 was flawless, 5.0 flawless, 4.0 no problem, 3.0 had to move slow thru wood, but it made the cut... the 1.5 ah wouldn't even keep the blade spinning; the light flickered and as soon as the blade touched the wood it shut down. Guess you can't use ALL M18 batteries.
  9. I got lots of gift cards and money for Christmas and put my order in right away. Package 1 of 4 arrived today!
  10. All the posts I've seen from Milwaukee (see their facebook post and the replies they've made) have said the app does NOT have to be open or running, it will ping a closed or "sleeping" app; basically just an installed app is sufficient.
  11. Hahahaha.... Heck, just have police install it.
  12. Cities should invest in this tech and then sell space on the "pinger" to companies like Milwaukee to be able to add their app to it. If all cities had this along major highways, it could be a great tool! Or Pawn shops employees should be asked to have these on a ipad that stays in their store, etc...
  13. I work for a landscape company that puts 20-25 trucks on the road Monday-Friday, so I wonder if all our crews were running the app, if that would provide a decent enough "net" around town that if a tool was taken off a truck, it might ping one of the apps around town and help us find it. We lose blowers and weedeaters about every 2-3 weeks. It's pretty sad. Finding 2 of them would pay for a 50 pack.
  14. Looks like the OPE is on HD.com now... http://www.homedepot.com/b/Outdoors/Milwaukee/N-5yc1vZzvZbx82/Ntk-SKUPartialSearch/Ntt-272?Ntx=mode+matchall&NCNI-5 including a Milwaukee chainsaw!! http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-Electric-Chainsaw-6215/100609464 (sorry, couldn't resist)
  15. Zoro.com has 20-25% off; promo code NEWGEAR
  16. Have you tried with other batteries (wondering if it's the battery or the tool)? Mine are a tiny bit loose on some tools, but none quite that bad.
  17. I've been selling chargers on craigslist for about $25 each (the m12 and the m12/m18 combo charger). Sold 4 right before christmas.
  18. That would be awesome, particularly for some of the heavy draw tools that would be more stationary like miter saw, flood lights, and others. Maybe not so great for a drill, but could always be useful in a pinch.
  19. Hmm, if I go to cpomilwaukee.com and put in that promo, it says "promo unknown". If I go to cpooutlets.com it says "can currently NOT be added to your cart".
  20. AcmeTools.com 17% off one item... code 2017SAVINGS
  21. I know it's a 1/4-20 thread and there are quite a few mounting options and belt hooks, etc that use that as a common thread. I'm not sure Milwaukee has a brand specific item to fit it, but just trying to give people options for carrying or mounting these in a storage cabinet or something. I think.
  22. Another reason to live in the great state of Texas!
  23. Got confirmation from AcmeTools that NEITHER is a speed-load head. The more expensive one is the entire head assembly and the cheaper one is just the inside piece. Also, noticed today that the 2726-20, bare tool hedge trimmer shows up on homedepot.com, but none of the others (or kits). I'm sure they will pop up soon. AcmeTools.com still has the better deals. Today only, you can still get the $20 off anything over $100 and free gloves with any Milwaukee OPE purchase, free shipping over $199 and no tax.
  24. I noticed 2 string trimmer heads on acmetools.com. Trying to figure out the difference. One costs twice as much and I'm guessing is a quick loading head, where the cheaper one probably has to manually wrap the string around. Model #s 49-16-2710 and 49-16-2711
  25. I can't see Milwaukee changing to a new voltage after all their marketing for M18 being compatible across entire platform, but adding a 2nd battery might be conceivable. They have somewhat bad-mouthed the other companies doing this, but eventually there are limitations on 1 battery that a 2nd battery could solve. Will be interesting to see. #NPS17
